This theme is a real brainteaser, how on earth can a photographer choose just one photo :)
Anyway I'll enter with this shot from the Greek island of Paros not for the artistic value (if any) but for what it means for me.
You may have read in my blog that I used to be a photographer for a travel magazine and for some years I was traveling and taking pictures all over Greece. Paros was the first assignment I took from this magazine and I have to admit, I was pretty nervous about it. You see I had never done something similar before and I was completely unprepared to carry the burden of a whole publication, as I did! Imagine that I took this job with a portfolio based on vacation shots!
With this picture I started to believe that I can make it! The minute I saw it on the camera screen, I was ecstatic and it gave me all the encouragement I needed during those stressful and nervous days!
