heh... wait... so was the shovel buried in snow, or were the eyes actually still "tacky" after their exposure to the elements?!?
Kudos for the cross-platform promotion there... I've tried bringing some of the r/googlyeyes folks this way, but reddit actively censors steemit links (I'm not joking!)
also, that Doug thing... is that like a phonetic pun or actually some reference I am just not getting?!
aha... I tried to get Doug out last week when the snow was thick, the eyes fell into the snow and disappeared. I waited until all the snow melted and found them again. (I had made sticky eyes from white tack because googly wouldn't stick in the extreme cold.)
This is Doug, just a silly joke from my childhood, (entirely phonetic). There was a whole series of them, some very corny..others quite clever, here's a link to a load of classic, what do you call a man jokes - https://whatdoyoucallaman.weebly.com/
instagram didn't seem to mind #googlyprize is now actually a tag on instagram. I'm not sure if facebook even care !
When you combine Doug with Douglas... hehehe... lol... silly stuff, I like it :D
So the white-tack stuff was still sticky after being in the snow for a few days? That stuff is better than I thought!
yeah not that sticky.. something about the angle and the properties of gravity.. you could say Doug is an anti-gravity specialist
here's a good one..
