There are four gates in Beiling park, the following is the front door. Most of time we go into the park through it, occasionally, we enter the park through the west gate or north gate. For hundreds of years, it has stood silently in the world of wind and rain, witnessing generations of visitors who come and go.
It is set in red wall, and it is so solemn. The yellow glazed tiles and the colorful engraving are so gorgeous, this feeling of opulence and grandeur.
The two stone lions in front of the gate are vivid. They are ornaments of traditional architectures and have the effect of exorcising evil spirits. Chinese people always look on it as an auspicious objects and it is common in the palace, temple and so on.
we can see owner's identity and status by ancient knocker. The animal head sculptures are common styles of Emperor palace,looks very dignified. And knocker is one of the most important decoration symbols in the Chinese gate culture.
北陵公园有四个大门，这是南门也是正门。大部分时候我们都是从正门进入公园，偶尔也会从西门或者北门进入。正门进去后就是宽阔平坦的大道。几百年来，它在风雨的世界里，默默的矗立着，见证着一代又一代的过往的游人。
它镶嵌在红墙之中，庄严肃穆。上面金黄色的琉璃瓦及下面的彩色雕刻均显露出皇家的华丽气派。
门口前面的一对大石狮子，栩栩如生。它是中国传统建筑的装饰物，也有辟邪镇宅的作用。中国人历来把石狮子看作是吉祥之物，在各大宫殿，庙宇等名胜古迹中经常看到它。
古代的门环 也能看出主人的身份和地位，兽头龙面的门环是皇家常见的样式，也是古建筑门中的典型的装饰，看起来就很威严。普通百姓家庭是不能用的。其他样式的门环也不少，总之，它也能体现出中国建筑等级。

中国建筑里对门的设计还是很讲究的！
确实，各种各样的不同类型的都很好看。有一些还有等级之分。
我记得好像还有数字上的讲究，必须是九个门钉或者九的分母。。。
