That makes good sense I think September is generally better weather than now at least here it is
You call it Indian Summer, I think. We say "Altweibersommer", what means "Old Women Summer" 😎 and yes, we also have better weather in September and October 😀

Yes the end of spring when the rain diminishes and its not to hot and or the end of summer whenit starts cooling a little are the best times of year for me ;)
I agree, and then I am longing for the autumn with the foggy mornings at the river or at the lake, and the colorful forests... spring has just begun and I am talking of autumn already ;)
I am in no rush for autumn even though I do love it not so keen on what comes after
