I did not mean to offend, but I sincerely believe that Romania deteriorated a lot, intellectually, when that generation of Cioran or Mircea Eliade disappeared. Above all, the latter, I think he was one of the greatest hermeneuts in the world and at least his work survives him: I have almost complete it in my library. An affectionate greeting

I'm not offended and I didn't think you meant it. For the most part I agree with your opinion and, even more, I am amazed and pleasantly impressed that you are interested in Romanian culture, where you found it and, of course, in your area of interest.
It should not be forgotten that the communist storm destroyed all Romanian culture after the Second World War. We escaped communism at the end of the last century, and after that we were all caught up in the re-making of capitalism... I mention a name that I know is appreciated in Spain: Mircea Cartarescu.
I am, by the way, an admirer of Mircea Eliade, but as a writer of literature, fantastic prose. I didn't go into the History of Religion or Yoga, because it didn't interest me.
I knew you were a very good photographer and I just looked at the photos and didn't read the text of your posts. On this occasion I saw your erudite, philosophical and very appealing style.
Thank you!
Thanks for your understanding. Romanian culture has always seemed fascinating to me. Too bad, as she says, that certain periods of that old stepmother, which is History, metaphorically speaking, have mistreated her in modern times. An affectionate greeting.
Thank you! I enjoyed our brief conversation.
