Aww cute I really enjoyed this post! The festive season leading up to Christmas is definitely my favourite time of year for all the reasons I think your post shows i.e. decorations, spending time with family and plenty of food!!
P.S. Spotted your Kitchenaid - worth it? I've been thinking about getting one to save me from kneading my own dough and bread...nothing like hand mixed but I've heard the dough hook is very good!
Oh yeah, the kitchenaid mixer is worth it, without question. It's one of my favorite tools. In this post, my Dad is using it for mashed potatoes. One of my favorite memories is my Dad doing his potatoes every year and the kitchenaid is always part of that. And, yes the dough hook is all that. Hope that was helpful.
