Decisions definitely shape our path in life.
Environment - boosts greatly starting positions and adds curves to the path, or straightens some parts of a way as well. One cannot be dichotomous here, both factors have their influence... and heredity, and upbringing (parents' example) too. And my child's example shows that sometimes it is impossible to influence a person at all, all efforts are useless and a person destroys his own future :/
