It must be an amazing feeling. My wife and I are childless, not by choice, and so will never have the experience. We have cats, but we know it's not the same.

My Wife was adopted, might be an option?

But we support kids overseas (Kenya and Eithiopia) that my Son calls them my Rent a Kids...kind of fun.

She is a great kid already!

Nah, we thought about it but at my age now...Probably not a thing. Besides the adoption process here is mental, as in convolute, costly and time consuming. Nah, we accept our fate and pour our love into cats and our niece and nephew.

Understood, I am retired myself...that is why I only do rent a kids right now.

Rent-a-kids - Could be a good business idea!

I have enjoyed them. The group in Kenya sent me a video of a happy birthday song, it makes me smile to watch it.

The Girl in Eithiopia has grown from a skinny 6 year old, to a beautiful 19 year old Lady! I was able to send her cash for a trousseau for when she gets married, I wish I could go....

My eldest brother (not on steem) and his wife part own a company that offers gainful employment to underprivileged Kenyan's, many of which would have terribly difficult lives. It must feel very rewarding for you to help in your way also.
