An Ambulance at the Fire Muster

In this post
For this post, I will divert from Fire Trucks to show an ambulance that was at the muster and this [post (https://steemit.com/photography/@tattoodjay/some-more-shots-from-the-engine-260-fire-muster] I shared a few shots of some of the Fire Engines in the Annual Engine 260 Fire Muster here in Milford CT.

Now this wasn't the working albulance at the event but as you can see a classic on shot that really caught my eye with its cool style

Now let's see it from behind, it was set up nicely with some equipment a nurse and even a patient inside

But I am not sure how good the nurse was or the medicines back then by the look of the patient

Now I normally like to include at least 5 Photos in a post so here are a couple of random shots taken at the event but not showing fire trucks in this post

They did have a local Bagpipe and drum band at the event as you can see here

I did not stay to watch any of the competitions they had between the Local Fire Fighting Units but did get this shot during the opening speeches of the area where the competitions took place

Well that patient looks pretty dead... I heard they had good drugs back then laced with cocaine hahaha what a helluva party. Might have been what killed that patient... hahaha

LOL yeah the meds may have been interesting back then but clearly not that effective in this case LOL

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

Haha - that patient sure is an eye-opener... lol
I read the line above the shot first, then scrolled further down to view it... gave me the "full effect" you might have targeted! :D

LOL yeah was to fun not to do :)
I hope your weekend is going well

I have visited a collection that has published @papilloncharity, and it has been very entertaining for me.

But this ambulance is another level with its patient inside.

I loved @papilloncharity recent vehicle posts infact I follow him and enjoy all his posts and all he does

They were for me extraordinary, they were so many that I could not choose a favorite. Happy Sunday.

Ohh yes he sure got such a fine collection of them

I love the skeleton in the back of the ambulance! I wonder how many lawyers (ambulance chasers) tried to give him their cards.

LOL at the ambulance chasers, these days the ambulance would have been full with all their business cards

Cool... I like this old car 👌😋😋

Thanks I did as well :)

How cool is that ambulance. It is so nice to be able to step back in time and imagine what life was like.

Ohh yeah I do love when classic vehicles are on display it is like stepping back in time ;)

What an amazing old ambulance, in pretty good nick! Great photography and day out with the camera again, thanks for sharing now I can hear the bagpipes ringing in my head.

Isnt there something special about the sound of bagpipes, :)
That ambulance was so cool first time I have sene it

That patient is so scary. LOL.
But the car is well kept in good condition.

Yeah it is a bit scary LOL

Hello friend, I come to greet you and give you my support, I wish you much success in your publications are really great.

Thanks so nice of you to say

That's a cool old ambulance. It looks like they have kept it in amazingly good condition, too!

I always thought it would be fun to buy an old hearse and rig it up with hydraulics. Where I live, there are a lot of people that follow too closely, so I want to have a button that causes the back door to "accidentally" come open and the casket to slide out a foot or two. That'd make a statement :-)

Ohh yes it was in such pristine condition, obviously so well looked after

LMAO I love that idea, you would need a camera setup as well so you can catch peoples expressions LOL

That seems like it would be a really rough ride :) Thankfully I have never had to ride in an ambulance, so I don't have anything to compare it to!

Well I have ridden in an ambulance three times so far, and uckli the treatment i Has was more successful than this patient had LOL

Super cool ambulance!

Isnt it just

Yes, I mean I wouldn't want to ride in one like that if I was hurt but it looks cool! lol.

Ohhyes you and me both I have ridden in more modern ambulances and worked in them, both things I hope never to do again LOL

Worked in them too! Overseas with the Peace Corps?

No not with Peacekeeping, Prior t that back in NZ I was a volunteer with the St Johns Ambulance Service in my Home town many many years ago

Oh like an EMS person here! That's tremendous, I bet you guys helped save alot of lives!
