The poster on the bottom is reminding workers to pass dosimetry.
Soviet vending machine with sparkling water (sometimes also with syrup. :) There were always glasses which you just wash (only with water!) and put back. They were made out of glass, not plastic, and everyone was drinking from the same glass. Now it seems crazy!
Famous swimming pool.
The moment we saw it with our own eyes. The 4th power block, which exploded...
We returned home in the evening. Tired, but full of impressions and thoughts.

Thank you for watching!
very unique B&W photos.
Thank you
Wow, thanks for the posts. Such haunting images.
You're welcome and thank you! :)
Your posts sparked my curiosity and I did some reading online about the Azure Pool. I wonder why it wasn't abandoned until 1998. Do you know?
OMG, I didn't know!! Now I read about it in Russian and it says, it was open until 1996 and used by the nuclear plant workers. Actually the radiation level there in some places is much lower than in big cities. Especially places, which are used by the workers, are being regularly cleaned.

This is awesome! Just finished going through all the stuff you have for this, thank you so much for sharing.. I've always wanted to go visit Pripyat. You went and took many great pictures in the zone. I just finished recording some in-game footage of the ending for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat using a mod. Feel free to check it out on my steemit if you'd like.
Actually Call of Pripyat was the game we went there for ;) Thanks, will take a look now
Hahaha! :) You're definitely playing the game in real life. Big thanks for looking.
