Oh wow! That sand is truly black! Never knew there was a black sand desert in Egypt, let alone a white one. Fascinating. And great shot! B&W definitely does it justice.

Next time I go back to Egypt I'll make sure to visit all those places. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, its only a small part of the desert where old volcano left some black rocks, then a couple kilometers away from that are 100% pure white chalk, the difference so close together is really cool, so if you ever are near cairo, there are many desert trips (2 day and more) that take you from cairo, to the desert, then back home, i HIGHLY recommend it, I have been on 2 of them, and will definitely go for a 3rd.
