Great photos, especially for such a teeny tiny snake. Love all your posts but you should add some scientific names so we can get to know our critters better.
This is one of the only snakes I've ever managed to photograph. It's a slug eater (duberria lutrix) - completely harmless and fairly common in the Cape Town area. The Cape Cobras and Puffadders are definitely NOT to be picked up.
