Ever since I finally upgraded my phone cause the Huawei I had before that started having way too many issues, the latest drop being the wifi not working anymore and without internet I may as well just pull the plug. I went and bought a new one. The Huawei was a good phone though, great camera for it's time and price but due to all the FUD I decided not to get the newest Huawei but opted for a Samsung instead. After checking some reviews this should still have a decent camera compared to its Huawei counterpart, or at least counterpart in the price range and model age, but you know, doubt the phones are gonna be the only thing they tracking us down with in the near future. Technological dystopia here we come!
Okay but enough about that, here's some photos I took today when out and about in the city called Aveiro. Not too many photos, mostly from my way to that one park (don't ask my about names, I barely know my own address) and of the park itself, you be the judge of the camera quality of this phone at max resolution and of course unedited because who has time to learn that stuff when I barely got time to get these shitposts out with everything else going on. Also yes, long sentences are still a thing and not going away any time soon in my posts. Deal with it.
View from a bridge
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside
Dunno looked cool, might edit out later
System of a Down - Sad Statue
This park in Aveiro called I don't fucking know, google it
It was nice tho, can recommend checking it out if you in the vicinity
I decided to get on this other bridge which I assume is really unnecessary but just made as an attraction, but like, I'm really not exaggerating when I say it's unnecessary, I mean, look at it's structure. Just why and who and why. What a waste of mats.
Wasn't even that great of a view from the bridge so I'm going back to why.
Oh well that's it for today, maybe another day more pics from Aveiro, it's a pretty nice tourist city. Another time maybe of another city here in Portugal, who knows when though I don't have time for this.
Hope you liked the pics and the quality of this smartphone, don't tell me I should've gone for the Huawei or I'll downvote you and everyone you love.
I loved my Samsung galaxy S 4 for its great shots. But the phone was stolen. I bought another Samsung. That phone was also stolen. Ha ha :(
Now I'm afraid to buy expensive models )) Although Samsung is my favorite phone brand because of the quality of the photos. At the same time, I couldn't find a phone that makes very good shots. This is especially true for Saint Petersburg, where there is a lot of rain.
My best guess for the pointless bridges is that someone pitched an art idea to city council, and they decided they needed to be progressive and spend a bunch of taxpayer money on pointless art shit.
lmao my roommate said the same thing
There's an ugly art installation outside one of the libraries in our district, and I'm pretty sure the only people who embraced the design were the tax feeders who bought it.
Reminded me of this "art" installation in a park back in Finland, I heard they'd pay €25k for it:
It didn't even make much sense with the park, kids could go up its tail and slide down its tongue so there was some practicality to it at least but man the person who built that must've laughed all the way to the bank.
I need to learn how to be a pretentious artist so I can hoodwink some city fathers out of beaucoup bucks.
What a lovely view! Nice place!
Great pics. Some really gorgeous areas. Thanks for sharing @acidyo
The blue sky, alongside the greenery in the environment, looks beautifully brilliant and bright. You're definitely a good photographer 📷. Cheers!
The end result of the photo quality is probably 50% photographer and 50% phone imo. Which samsung did you go with?
The A7
Excellent photos have a good resolution camera, the problem of the new models of Huawei is that it becomes a little complex to install the Google applications, due to the block they have at this time. Greetings !
Cool pictures.
Was it taken with Huawei?
Samsung A7
As an amateur Street photographer I can say pictures are great but I noticed that there is no people around...is it because of Covid-19 or it is Sunday today and everyone is seashore for swiming...?
ah no, there were plenty of people around tbh, many with masks but many also without. I just tried to take the pics when there were the least few people around just cause I thought that's like the decent thing to do, except for that 2nd last pic, my patience ran thin and they were walking half a mile an hour.
Yes my friend i secondly looked the pictures and it is a big park and it is also a bit hot I think...By the way I see the people :) lol...Street photography is a great meditation whatever you take when you are on the streets and with what you take the pictures...the spirit is the most important thing and of course personel satisfaction...
Hard to believe that you're a normal person like us who go out and take random photos. Maybe you should start writing travel posts 😁
I'm starting to become curious what you think I am.
That was before you wrote about you went to school, joined the army, and worked for an IT firm (?) the other time. You became so human, just like the rest of us after that. Borrrrrring
xD hey thanks to all the icecream lately I'm on a good way to that gif again!
Great and beautiful photos you got here☺️☺️
your photos are great!
Nice pictures! I especially liked the river ones.
Nice pics. I've got family there. It changed a lot over the years. Used to be very rustic but now has pointless bridges that atract tourists to pay for it.
Greetings from another Huawei user 😁
The photos are great if you ask me, don't see why you should edit them.
That park is great, the perfect place for me.
Oh, I almost forgot, good luck with the new phone!
Is this Part of heaven!!!!!!!!!! Looking too calm and quiet. amazing shots of photograply.
Nice. Spending some time in that city before you say goodbye
Nice shots. I dont know dick about photography so i cant comment of photo quality. But i can say i like the park. Im a sucker for botanical gardens. Nice shot of the arbors and the pink bougainvillea.
omg do you live in heaven? 😂 Nice neighboard! its used to be so little people on the street or its cause of COVID?
It is already here! If you want to know more about that ill strongly recommend the talks of DR. Yuval Harari like this one but there is a lot of that guy out there
Cool photos. Otherwise, if I were to choose where I want to live, I would choose Portugal. Well, even here where I live is not bad.
Yeah, some good photos here and I like the neat and tidy look of that place.
The Samsung's camera is good and anything is better than my old Nokia hahaha.
Looks like a pretty chilled place - not too many people around?
Man, this series of shots has me missing Scandanavia. Right now Texas is enduring a layer of hell descending upon it. Today it feels like 40c and 57% humidity. Your phone looks to have a nice camera and i particularly like the angles and perspectives. Some similarities to there and some spots in Sweden. Missing those summers hahahaha
Really pretty.
Bonitas Fotos 😍👏 Hermoso Lugar 🤩
a very beautiful place, I want to feel like vacationing there someday @acidyo🙂
I have never heard of this city! Looks nice, and the camera seems great!
Always my favorite part of buying a new phone - realizing how much your previous phone's camera sucked ha ha
What a beautiful city and awesome photos!
I had to laugh as I also loved the camera on my Huawei phone but when it was time for an upgrade, I went with Samsung as the rumours had started about Huawei & Google. Must say I still prefer the Huawei phone camera as my Samsung does not have a backlight when taking pics in darker areas.
Huawei is probably still a good hone to use in China but I'm still sticking to my Samsung Galaxy S10+. Also afraid of the FUD too plus my phone still taking good pictures.
I went with the A7 for now, maybe next bull run I'll go for the newest S :P
I gotta wait another year for my contract to end before I want to think about changing.
I got mine last year to go to the president's residence for a reception. :-)
