We grow this in our herb garden every year as well. I make a tincture out of the flower and young leaves using a light white wine. Take a small mason jar, cram it half full of leaves & flower bits, pour over the white wine to fill up the jar. let it sit, loosely covered with the lid on -for about a month. Strain the plant material out and tighten down the lid. Keep in the fridge or medicine cabinet. Use as a mouthwash to soak sore gums from dentures or dab a cloth or cotton ball and apply to your troubled tooth.
