I fell in love with the georgous author and performer of poems, Rupi Kaur's and "The sun and her flowers", her second collection of poetry released October 3rd 2017.
Her story of becoming famous is incredibly awesome. She got book deals because of thousands of likes on instagram. Now she is on tour with her new book with fans all over the world. She is leading the international bestseller lists.
“You must want to spend the rest of your life with yourself first”― Rupi Kaur, Milk and Honey
I mentioned her in my previous first try to express instant feelings, creating a little poem in this article. Pain Is Temporary, I Was Told Today
Keep on wishing nothing but the marvellous!
I am not scared to be alone like many people I know who compromise too much of their wishes, spending too many years in unsatisfying relationships. First of all you should be ok with yourself and count on yourself. If somebody comes along and will inspire you to bring out only the best......Then you know, its the right time to hold on.
About Rupi Kaur, my inspiration!
She is a #1 new york times bestselling author and illustrator of two collections of poetry. she started drawing at the age of five when her mother handed her a paintbrush and said—draw your heart out. rupi views her life as an exploration of that artistic journey. after completing her degree in rhetoric studies she published her first collection of poems milk and honey in 2014. the internationally acclaimed collection sold well over a million copies gracing the new york times bestsellers list every week for over a year. it has since been translated into over thirty languages. her long-awaited second collection ‘the sun and her flowers’ was published in 2017. through this collection she continues to explore a variety of themes ranging from love. loss. trauma. healing. femininity. migration. ‘revolution.rupi has performed her poetry across the world. her photography and art direction are warmly embraced and she hopes to continue this expression for years to come. - Source www.rupikaur.com

Her book Milk & Honey, separated into four sections, describe the hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing she and others have endured in her lifetime which is why I think this book is so widely known and loved.- Source

Bam, this is a great selection of amazing poems! I couldn't read them all because I was getting a bit emotional.
I fully agree with your sentence: "First of all you should be ok with yourself and count on yourself." I've mentioned something similar in my LoveFriday post this morning, it's a gold rule! Glad you joined this week with!! :))

why is she posing nude?
Why NOT?
Perhaps she is trying say we do not need anything to come between us, the Sun, and Flowers. But then again, it could just be she felt more comfortable doing it that way. I am not much of an Art Critic, and many times Art flies way over my head. But her poetry, or what I have been fortunate to hear because of following @mammasitta, I find I like. So in the end she could just simply be saying the clothes do not make the person, the message makes the person.
I doubt that.. her poems are erotic..and she is probably using sex appeal strategy for promotion by posing her naked back to the camera..perhaps she is a pervert
Seems, except for the end of your comment you have answered yourself, "her poems are erotic..and she is probably using sex appeal strategy for promotion" I do not get how this has anything at all to do her being "a perhaps pervert". If a naked back is an indication of a perversion, then I guess all those people that go to the beach or swimming pool and expose their backs are "perverts". I just do not get it, and don't even want to try to understand how you can see her picture as a perversion.
poets should do poetry..no need to become a pornstar
awesome
