Tiny Particles - Written As A Gentle Reminder!

Tiny Particles

Tiny particles,
drop to the floor
as all minuscule life forms
try hard to be ignored.
This delicate dance
that forms
and holds it own,
creating other worlds
that exist amongst our own!

Take a breath
slow down
there is no need to feel compelled,
to always start each day
Rushed
whilst your true self is being withheld.

Breathe
In!
feel the air fill up your lungs,
Allow your thoughts to wander
to look upon this world
and ponder.
Seek the wild
that resides within
let go of what you think you need to do
Right now in this moment
THERE
IS
ONLY
YOU!

Let your fears melt away
feel them Burn
with the sun
For Your time of Healing
has now begun!

Slow down
Observe
There are whole worlds
beneath your feet
Take the time to witness
take the time to retreat!

Today as I sat for a minute by myself, whilst all around me the seeds of the eucalyptus trees fell upon me. I thought about, how often we take the time to sit and observe, to witness what is happening outside our own little worlds. We can be so wrapped up in our stories, that we forget that we are not the only existence on this earth.

There are whole worlds that lie beneath our feet, millions of stories that are being created just as I now speak. And what does it take to slow down. We move so fast sometimes, always thinking what could happen, what we want to happen and hardly ever just allowing ourselves to be.

So this poem is a gentle reminder to be present, to breathe, to take the time to sit with yourself and allow yourself to heal.

There are little tiny worlds everywhere and as you said in your poem we should give attention and learn from them:)

Yes! Focussing on those tiny details from nature can really bring us into the present. A beautiful post. You have a eucalyptus there???

yes I have a few near where I live and also just outside the town I go to. They really remind me of my time in WA xx Thank you beautiful xx

They make very good tinder.. we had a bonfire yesterday to get rid of some garden waste and even the green stuff burnt so fast. No wonder wildfires here are so fast and violent. I remember missing home and seeing the gums in Portugal. Similiar climates I guess.

I read this at 8.53 on a Sunday morning, when I am feeling hammered and stressed about the desk-mountain looming above me on a "catch up Sunday". Such perfect timing. Suddenly I am looking out of the open window, listening to the raindrops and smelling that glorious smell of little moments & wet earth.
The blades of grass are singing.

Beautifully written @trucklife-family! I'm not much of a poem person for writing them...but your style is written beautifully! I particularly like the part about "Right now in this very moment, THERE IS ONLY YOU.

The power of "now" is so important to realize. Taking notice of life around us is something we need to do more of. Too many people in this world simply don't take in the world around them.

Thank you for being present, and reminding those that stopped to read your poem of the same ;-)

Be well!

Thank you @steelborne for your beautiful words, they mean a lot xx
