RE: Life & Death Haikus: Golden Rule Of Hip Hop (Original Poem)

Hey my friend. Yes that is true, it is commendable to perform live. But those who don’t put forth real effort and lip sync or rely on audio assisted illusions are not taken lightly in performing communities. Haha classically trainer singing is indeed a skill, but I don’t think that qualifies you as a snob. Snobiness is defined by ones’ attitude and you seem pretty down to earth.

Sort:

Oh yes, I'm very down to earth but mess with the Star Spangled Banner and I tend to want to rip their throats out. I'm a traditionalist in that sense. LOL And anyone who commands decent money to attend their show better sing in key. I admit it. I can be a snob. heh. :P

Haha touché. Yes anyone singing Any Country’s National Anthem should do so to the best of their ability and not slaughter the melody and slide in pitch all over the place. I can be a very tough judge, making my judging for the Steemit Open Mic Contest easier when we listen to 100+ entries each week.

More power to you, love. I don't think I could judge a music contest. My mindset has to stay in enjoying the music instead of picking out the thing(s) that may put them in the rejection pile.

Thank you for the power. I completely understand and know what you mean. I still find a balance between appreciating and nitpicking lol
