RE: The expectations of Capital and the ism's of Capital

"i don't see MLs doing much to correct the brainwashing by the liberal states who wish to keep the status quo."

I agree im no Marxist-leninist. I think their theory which they so egotistically call,"immortal science" is outdated. If it's science why haven't they made any updates to their theory since our material conditions have changed?

"i know that Cuba is different but what i am getting at is China, Cuba, etc all have monetary exchange of some kind,"

Okay, I think this is a little near sighted. I know you're some sort of anarcho-communist, but Cuba and china(I see china as revisionist, btw) don't claim to have achieved communism.

Per Marxist thoery, communism (classless stateless moneyless society) can only be achieved through a series of gradual changes in the economic structure.

He called a society that has started the transition,"the lower form of communism".

Cuba at least is some sort of lower phase of communism(socialism)

Having money doesn't mean something is capitalist. Relations to property is the most important factor in socialism vs capitalism.

"I don't think communism has ever really been tried, and sure thats a pretty leftcom thing to say but i genuinely see that, not even by anarchist standards has it been tried and attempted."

We can't just try communism, have you read Marx? There is no magic switch you can flip to get there. This is childish. Communism is dependent upon the development of technology so far that work isn't really a nessecitie any more, the class war ending, amoungst a million other things.

Reality is a bloody mess, right? You can't really expect that communism can be just turned on? Take off the rose tinted shades comrade.

'Also i wouldn't say there is 100% no support for a violent uprising,"

Sure but(I'm an American full disclosure) the police force in the United States is way more powerful then any armed insurrection would be. Even if you rush the police station, then the national guard will mop up what remaining people you have.

You're more useful alive then martyred.

"When Socialists back Social Democrats it destroys any hope of them being taken seriously."

This can aleast get some results. If a social democate wants to get health care and education in the hands of the people, then why wouldn't we support this?

If trump came out tommorow and saying he wanted to get universal health care, I would support it. Doesn't mean I have to like him. I'm more concerned with actually changing policy, not who is the purest socialist or whatever.

Sort:

Trying communism wasn't the best phrasing i could have used, but it was more of the factor that no society has quite gotten to that point in where they can explicitly say they've gotten close, like sure Cuba is the closest that a country has gotten to Communism, and yes i've read Marx, i read marx in high school, it was expected of me, to read not just the communist manifesto but all 3 volumes of Kapital. But when i say that Cuba has a variation on a "capitalist" idea eg money, im meaning in the Economical Anthropological sense in that they use a monetary basis of exchange, which at least in the market use of it is a capitalist thing, even though i'd argue that Money is more feudal than it is capitalist. I agree when some Socialists back Socdems but i've seen some pretty horrific examples in the past where Socialists agree with some pretty egregious things that probably woulda been better if they never called themselves Socialist in the first place.
