Let's gist.
Before the Blockchain, I never wanted to have anything to do with the internet because, almost every successful Nigerian internet mogul was a certified 419.
We were so fraudulently good with the internet money making stuff that we defrauded a foreign bank, sold an airport and even impersonated the Central bank government. We were that good and along that line, these guys were the backbone of the politicians and every happening social circuit in Nigeria.
So, seeing we were that good, makes us claim the top spot of every criminal list in the world. We are known to be rich with abundant oil, but incredibly poor with no idea what it means to value our sovereign wealth. Fast forward to now, we have the most corrupt and well paid political leaders in the world.
The way these guys steal and loot the national treasury with impunity almost appears like they are in the sets of one of Hollywood's Mafia movies from the 70s.
We are well aware that these guys are bleeding the nation's treasury, but for some dumb and yet to be identified reasons, we are just not worried about that and we never make the move to stop them.
We are so good with waiting for God's time that they the criminally insane leaders know how to throw the crumbs at us, and when some of us try to be forward speaking, they are silenced with money or eternal bliss.
I have the right to wash this one very dirty troubling linen in the public, so feel free not to meddle.
I am a young Nigerian who is still being deprived of his rights to the wealth of the nation. We are denied access to the benefits that are meant for us. The educational, health, social and financial systems are all messed up and it just keeps getting worse. Leadership is managed by thieves and rogues. Decency is thrown into the gutters and the good guys never seem to last longer than their first 5 minutes in the field of morality.
We are are good in being bad and corrupt that we totally killed morality in governance.
Back to the issue of discuss.
It has been 2019 since 2017. For those in Nigeria, you will really understand. Everything from now till that day will be about the politics and the pains that comes with it.
Looking at the above picture, I see some categorization and the individuals therein are running for the number position in the country.
These various individuals are known to be serious and ready to take the Nigerian nation to the "promised land". We have been waiting forever and every time Moses comes, he suddenly changes to Pharaoh and keeps the people in Egypt.
Let's meet these guys.
Bear in mind I am just going to drop some few lines about them and expect that you will check them out and make your own conclusion.
Omoyele Sowore. This guys is the founder of Sahara Reporters one of the new age media organizations that was responsible for fishing out major corruption cases in Nigeria. The news media is said to have received over $175million in grants from the Ford Foundation and has huge followings in Nigeria and overseas.
Sahara Reporters is responsible for 87% of the whistle blowing on corrupt government officials since it was founded in 2006.Dr. Perry Brimah. This presidential aspirant is a Popular Columnists and Convener of ENDS (Every Nigerian Do Something) His platform is used to attack the corrupt systems in the governance and also help to bring about a movement that is getting all Nigerians involved in policy making and proposed national development.
Fela Durotoye. A motivational speaker, business strategist and project initiator. Called Mr. Nigeria, he is a popular figure among Nigerian youths, and is the president of the GEMSTONE Nation Builders Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental organization aimed at training youths towards transformational change.
Ahmed Buhari. He is the founder of Skylar, Inc. a company focused solely on Information Technology (IT), Networking, Corporate branding, and Business consulting. with numerous awards under his belt, he has vowed to wrest power from the incumbent who happens to bear the same surname as he. His foundation Ahmed Bee foundation is helping youths collaborate and bring good to society.
Adamu Garba. Is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited, a leading cloud computing company, headquartered in Lagos. He is an outspoken Nigerian who was rusticated from the University for his movement to bring about equality between everyone irrespective of tribe or race affiliation.
Dr. Thomas Ikubese. A medical practitioner running under the National Conscience Party (NCP), said that he joined the political arena because he saw the need to salvage the country from hardship and place it on the level among global leaders. He is putting up a good campaign and looking to get a win in 2019.
The above are the youthful contestants most of whom are still considered to be too young to run for the presidency of Nigeria.
The political arena is heating up and we are beginning to see lots of billboards springing up, rallies and fake constitutional projects. I am sure we are all very familiar with the workings of our criminally insane politicians and "important" to them to win.
There has been an increase in the numbers of missing persons, ritual cases are being recorded on daily basis, shortage of money in the economy and the inauguration of "youth leaders and political thugs".
The story with my country is really a sad one. I see young people running after these politicians and will kill for just some few bucks. I am wishing that, at least 70% of the youths in Nigeria will say no to their bidding.
Will you be voting in 2019? Who will you be casting your votes for? Are you planning to cast the votes for the person who gives you rice or for the man who you see as being good enough to bring about some change should he get the chance to?
The choice is yours because, you have absolute power to make a difference.

@ejemai, one thing about all these "fine faces" you displayed is that we can't just know the intent of their hearts. Their professions may be so eloquent to the teasing of a day-old babe, yet, when the taste power, they smell different. God is our only hope. We should pray His will be done. Yet, His will may be difficult at times as He gave us Buhari to get everyone's eye off government to talent. When God proposes, it stands.
Thanks@ejemai for this hygienic political post. Nigerian youths we are not lazy. It is high time we prove our strengths and positive political leadership ability. I am ready to vote for any Nigerian youth coming out for any political position. (I don tire for all these old cabals wey dey go dey come over and over again with catastrophic agenda. Their mata don tire me joor) great Nigerian youths, GREAT)
Quite interesting but to be very sincere, I doubt if the youths of our great Nation vastly understand and appreciate the dent made by the older breeds on our prestigious image.
One sad news is that even the so called political lot amongst us youths are still holding on to the dangerous loyalist thread.
It then begs the question;
It is the power which we have so neglected that has been used as a successful punch right on our integrity as industrious people. Let's take our place in history.
Its very simple, if we the youths all get involved in politics for the right and reasons and not just to prove a point, then we are sure to put the foundations of our democracy to a historical test!
I'll prefer to vote Buhari than to vote Sowore or Fela because if they truly want the best for Nigeria as they are preaching Now they won't play the role they played in the last election. It doesn't take years to know a visionless politician. They sacrificed their integrity and vision on the alter of propaganda..... My thoughts
hey @ejemai ... "Before the Blockchain, I never wanted to have anything to do with the internet because, almost every successful Nigerian internet mogul was a certified 419." .... now thats a statement which is almost similar to the situation which i faced.
Sadly , there is truth that the general perception of Nigeria across the globe is well known for dubious reasons which saddens me as i've only met really great Nigerians in Malaysia and also in Steemit.
Good luck to your upcoming elections ... ours in Malaysia is next week ! Cheers buddy
Thanks man. There are so many good people out there, but the early starters just managed to spoil it for us. I have learnt not to be moved by the global gist but by one I have become comfortable with and that is, I am a game changer, and will keep living the dream.
Stay awesome and good luck with your upcoming elections.
My voting power will be low on that day; I'm glad i won't have to think about who to vote for
Lol, you just cracked me up here. Voting Power being low. You have to try and participate and hope to God we get the right candidate.
Stay awesome and keep the Voting Power charged up!
Lol... I'll try to see if i can power up on that day; though there's little possibility of that happening
If you don't vote, you automatically give your vp to someone else. Someone else that might vote someone worse than the sick person ruling presently, who will finally burn the country down. Now, imagine that we all decided not to vote, you see where I'm going with this?
Lol..... I see where you're going
Ok, good. Please honey, vote.
😀✌✌
Errrmmm well as a typical Nigerian, I think I will go for Fela durotoye simply because he is very educated and he’s been far and wide. Most importantly he’s still young and vibrant, this is will be the first time some presidential aspirants coming out are of same age or younger than Nigeria 🇳🇬 🤣😂, our present and past presidents are way older than the country itself! Thank you...
You are right, we have a set of older than time leaders and it will be a good thing to see someone fresh breath breathed into Aso Rock.
Your choice for Fela Durotoye seems healthy and I am sure your reasons are valid.
Stay awesome!
Thanks ejemai
2019 Election...... Hopefully, it will be a game changer for the Nigerian political scene. We can't continue like this forever
Hopefully and surely. We have to keep the faith and follow through with our own civic responsibility.
Stay awesome!
If we think our leaders doesn't care about us, we are wrong, because all they really care about is to see us walk bare footed. At least they care.
I have lost interest in politics a long time ago. You perfectly described these insensitive lots, eaten by greed and corrupt practices. Their gatherings have always been the gathering of idle people. They promised people free medicals, good roads and other social amenities and all they give back is free suffering.
They don't listen. They are stubborn lots. They do whatever they want to do because they feel untouchable. It is really saddening. I am sorry to say but I won't be casting any votes. You needed to see the length I walked to make my vote during the last election. I lost any kind of faith in this next election. The question I keep asking myself is, does my vote really count? They already know the outcome even before it started but I think the last one counted. Well, I really don't know what to believe anymore where politics is concerned.
Thank you for this sir. Like I always tell you, you have so much depth and I always admire your reasoning.
I didn't even know some of the people contesting until you posted it. Thanks for keeping me aware and I am sure others are too.
This is what our reality has come to be. We all have lost faith in the system and that makes the criminally insane take root and keep robbing us blind. We should start making a bold move to reclaim our country and hope to bring about some real joy soon.
Stay awesome and make sure to go get your PVC!
The truth about this people (politicians) is that, during campaign they tell us stuffs that are not feasible and I wonder how we end up believing them. Right now I don't know who to vote for.
Of course it's expected that a leader who has access to nations treasury to decide how to use the funds under his care but not to take some much that it becomes glaring and that's what these past government has been doing. Very deceptive people.
Based on who I've seen how far he has worked before I may say I'll go for Donald Duke, that man is a hero! He really worked in Calabar. Although I was younger then but I still remember how people were talking and raining praises on him.
May God Bless Nigeria!
They have made it look like it it theirs to spend for their selfish gains and not for society. The whole idea of entrusted them with the country's wealth is that, they are the select few who should better help administer stuffs and bring about productive change.
Your choice looks healthy and I too have been to Calabar and he did do some great work there.
Stay awesome!
Voting is an illusion.
Politics is puppet theater for the elite.

Only if this young and intelligent minds can hold their grounds when it gets to 2019. Then cool, they will get the votes if it's fair and free
till then let's wait for 2019 ,the old elephants are not reacting yet.
Most youths still refuse to accept that our votes really count and no matter how many Young Minds contest, they need like minds to vote them in.
just as you said every time we hope for Moses
it turnout that they automatically become pharaoh
the good guys are be influence by the bad guy and they automatically become bad
how long i will going to hope and pray wait for us to leave this terrible conditions if we ourselves continues to for our own personal interest when we get to that position.
i don't think this country will change expect we ourselves change it.
nice post @ejemai
i wish to read more of your posts
The title should be WHO WILL BUY OUR VOTE?
The don't really care about the masses once the get there because the believe the paid for the post..
In my opinion non of them will beat the incumbent. Of course given fair chance and a level plain field, Baba may not stand a chance. Unfortunately for the youths and for the next coming elections, Trump has somewhat endorsed Baba by making a phone to Nigerias president as first in Africa and to be the first among African president to visit the white house was well saying Buhari is a man of integrity. This is aside the fact that despite the hardship in Northern Nigeria, he still enjoys an overwhelming support from his kit and kins, a large part of the Muslim umma as well as the Hausa/Fulani speaking communities in Nigeria. In addition, the man intends to increase minimum wage by the third quota of this year 2018. this singular gesture alone can spurr a lot of Public and civil servants in Nigeria to be endeared to him, considering that Nigerians forget things pretty easily. So, this among other things have put a lot of candidates in a tight corner. 2019 elections will be interesting no doubt, but i see Buhari emerging as the president if he chooses to contest again.
I am not up to 18😐😐
I hope we join hands together and make the right choice come 2019 !
I don't read or listen to news for a while now because I'm serious angry with the way things operate in Nigeria, I don't want to hear about them.
I don't know we have many youths already that want to wrestle for power from these carbals..
If one of the youths scale through, I will gladly cast my vote for any of him.
But if it is still those old people, I've already declared that day my personal holiday from deciding the future that is not guaranteed for my beloved country.
People are suffering, I hope they don't vote for food, I hope they vote for a better Nigeria.
Hehheeee....
In 2019 power must change hands...
Enough of being ruled by thee older generation. We need fresh minds, fresh ideas and agile people who can relate with the needs of the youth and attend to it ASAP
If people were just like me, I won't vote in this coming election cos those aspirants are just the same thing
They are already giving rice to those idle hand Who wish to sell off their future and their children future
I wonder why Nigerian even don't think
