What became painfully obvious with the hatchet job on Gary Johnson is that the powers that be will never let a third party have a shot, the two parties set the rules for the debates and they have designed them to prevent a third party from participating and without participation in the debates you can't win. Heck when he got too close to the arbitrary polling level they thought he could never reach a CIA agent threw his hat into the ring to draw support away from him. I don't know what to do about that.
