Thank you for your kind words! Yes, self portraits is an interesting terrain to explore as it is more challenging - dealing with composition, set up and posing. But in the end it is also very fun. I'll definitely be trying it soon, thank you for your compliments! I think it's the overall posing and expression I'd struggle with to start, as it's far more easier to be on the other end of the camera for me. But images like this one, really interest me, the overall lighting and composition are perfect and the pose is fantastic, has inspired me for sure, can't way to see more and try it myself!
The answer to the struggle is just try. Eventually you will catch on what works best and how to achieve the feeling you want to achieve. And sure, being the subject of the photo yourself is always much more vulnerable, but it is the reason why I like it so much I guess. It takes courage. :)
