Yeah.. pengu's been using gifs and tiktok for crazy views and monetizing on it, wondering how we could bring that traffic here, maybe include qr codes that can be scanned rather than just icons? Or is that against TOS

Quick look there is no problem with QR codes on Gifs and is an excellent idea! Good stuff and I know you are busy and appreciate your time to chat!
Not sure about the QR codes, they backlinked to websites a lot of our gifs! A lot of them Hive projects like yours. Definitely good for Brand exposure. We do the Gifu ones too as you can see which was to drive traffic to hive btw and started on BSC to also drive traffic to Hive....with 10's millions of views!
If you have a QR code I could try a couple see how it would work maybe?
I know you guys do good work, it's just some of the activities I've noticed when it comes to voting that may be a bit on the lazy side and kind of shit on curation as to what it means. Been talking to Ray about it a bit on and off lately but I understand a lot of projects are also in survival mode now and doing what they can to stay afloat, I just hope it improves over time so it doesn't cause more users to get used to certain ways cause else we're not better than whatever happens with stake distribution over at steem or blurt and curation is as meaningless of a word as it has started to become lately.
I have some ideas involving gifs I haven't been able to finalize with @hivetrending, maybe we could collaborate or at least talk more about it in the near future.
Sure I love Hivetrending, he did mention stuff about Gifs to me a while ago! Man yes it is a tough market out there for everyone I think and anyone that has kept their project going over the last 3 years deserves a medal, as many projects have not survived!
Anyways test this see if it works?
Also the use of Gifs in short form video is definitely a thing, some of our gifs have turned up in viral videos over the last year or so....but also using them to make videos can be a thing as they are essentially short videos!
