So, I know you have issues with that guy, and I certainly don't defend his actions, but there's a time and place for this kind of behavior, and I don't think it was here and now.
Any place where he carries himself as an innocent good guy, interacting with the community as normal, in my opinion is the time and place to leave a response to him as a bit of a "tag," to inform those who don't know and may perceive him as a benign member of the community with good intentions. This guy is everywhere physically, at all the conventions, tons of meet ups, many in real life communities globally, etc. Putting a face to the name is important. Not everyone reads 3 year old blog posts of mine from Steem, so I think it's wise (and fulfilling) to allow people to put a face to the name, especially in posts where many decent sized stake holders have replied and interacted with.
I can understand your perspective but what you don't see, is how you look, because like you said, not everyone digs to find out the whole story.
I know what you're dealing with is frustrating and I know what it's like to be the one who can see behind the mask. 100% I know how much it makes you sick.
I'm not suggesting you back down. I will suggest you refrain from drooping down to his level. You look kind of crazy as well when you simply drop something like that in a public space, then run. Perhaps it would be wise to handle things a little more professionally, and maintain your composure, otherwise you stand a chance of sabotaging your intentions, while someone like that will use it as leverage and twist things around.
Now, realize, I don't want to sit and argue with you.
?? Don't thank me. Sort out your issues. Stop pretending like it doesn't exist. I'm not falling for that fake nice guy stuff. If anything you've just pissed me off and made it personal trying to pull that stunt on me.
