Good morning! Many ways to incorporate TAGS... Some write them in the actual post... some use them in the TAG selection area... and then you have TAG specific communities. This also depends on what "front-end" you are using; when posting via PeakD you have the option to use 10 TAGS.
So then... my TAGS could be #thoughtfuldailypost, or #hive-109288. Conversely, you could also post in my actual community, and have the 10 TAGS free. Here is my community:
