There is a similarity between Eckhart Tolle (ET) and Human Design (HD); which teaches us to surrender to what is, and become aware of the conditioned mind. Both knowledge is to awaken the Passenger of Consciousness.
The difference is, ET approach is living in the Now, be more conscious that there is presence beyond your mind (the presence is You and everything else). Observe the mind in a meditative way.
HD approach guide us to recognize how the mind is conditioned. Doing so, we get to know the mind game in details and observe it in our own meditative way. At least, this is taught in Living Your Design Program.
There are more to this in the deeper level of HD where we get to know how we are wired genetically. It helps us understand the mechanic of the Maia. The only challenge with HD is, many people get caught in information rather than living their design.
Same goal, both are spiritual in that essence, where both want us to understand the mind game that causes us suffering and feel the essence of who WE are. However, the uniqueness and differentiation gives us different approach.
What is Human Design?
Human Design system is Self-Knowledge that shows your unique blueprint through a Rave chart called the Bodygraph. It also explains everything about you in a logical way. It shows the conscious and unconscious side of you, your characteristics, your roles in this life and much more.
Human Design shows your Genetic Code and WHO YOU ARE through Definition. With this knowledge, you are able to tap into your own power and begin to heal through alignment of your soul, mind and body.

They are very different ways of ultimately saying the same thing which is looking after the mind. Mental health is sadly overlooked for the most part and the physical symptoms that come from it are the things that show and subsequently get treated whereas a bit of mindfulness could be all it needs.

@nickyhavey I agree with you. I often meet people who thinks there is something wrong with themselves. I showed them that they are perfect...they just have to understand why they experience certain thinking, believes and so on. Get to know our mental trip, nourish the body and brain with right food and everything else will be in harmony flow; even during our rainy days.
It's difficult when we are surrounded by negative vibes though. The constant forcing of certain narratives down our throats from media and advertising is tough to avoid for most. I don't watch TV or even listen to radio because I have enough going on in my mind and actually want to create as much as possible, that's my food and nourishment for the soul :)

I used to hide from myself, locked into a cage of shyness, but once I confronted my thoughts about it, I seem to have improved. Not by a large degree, but still making progress. Mind control is a reality.
