RE: Paradise Concludes - POB WOTW

Dear @scholaris,

I'm very thankful for your talent in organization. You kept the contest going. I was sad to hear this news:

I'm not sure when Calumam is returning.
Due to his absence, I will need to change some things to make funding more continuous for the contest.
It will require that I discontinue the WOTW for a couple of weeks before taking it up again.

Interacting with @calumam on POB was one of the most interesting experiences I have had online. The concept of Word of the Week is very simple but powerful. The uniqueness of each word and with each author's spin created a very targeted hurricane of information.

The result will be a more challenging and fun WOTW.

When I heard about your proposed changes I was excited. I would love to see this contest do more than make a splash but make a ripple drawing a whole new group of talent onboard Hive and POB.

Finally, I commend you for your work in curating. You even included inks in this posts to active posts that support the community with contests.

I have been welcomed and encouraged time and time again by the POB community. This challenge will just make the community even stronger. I know pob-wotw and the community will continue to contribute something great in the world for years to come. If you need a break then take it and if you need help then ask the community and tell them just like it is. I'm sure you will find support.

Thanks for the advice. I feel I have a solution I can work with through the end of the year. I responded to @samsmith1971 about it in this post. A shorter recurring series with some challenges added followed by a 1-week break for development.

Do you want to win SOME BEER together with your friends and draw the BEERKING.

Thank you for this, it's encouraging and good to know that you are never alone in this community.
