What is the Rap Challenge?
The SteemIT Rap Challenge is a weekly Hip-Hop competition for SBD. I launched this initiative to help grow the Hip-Hop community here on SteemIT. There are tons of rappers here and there wasn't a specific contest that gave these MC's a chance to compete against one another. Battling is one of the foundations of Hip-Hop culture so it is only right to have a Hip-Hop battle contest right here on our favorite social media platform.

Yo...you be having bars man. I want to see you work on your breathing. Run while you trying to rap, it's good practice. With all those bars, you need to have good breathing to get time out. Learn to know where to take breaks in between your lines in good places that still allow you to jump back on beat. Okay...All love. I like the way you structure your syncopation and rhythm. I agree with Geechi, but also, when you memorize your lyrics it is also easier to embody them and flow it more naturally rather than holding a paper and reading it and reacting to the beat. You got a lot of potential in terms of creative flow and delivery. Your lyrics are also well written in pockets of flow

Real message within this art piece. I can definitely relate to it. It is not a game out here. Blessed to be alive and definitely we can't forget where we came from or grew up. Having options to relocate is a beautiful thing. May the gunshots miss many more souls in the chaos of street life and corruption.

Refreshing lyrics, far from cliche, creative and chill flow. Low energy yes but I feel the delivery suited the beat just fine it was only due to the low volume of your voice which made it a bit unbalanced. Nice entry

It was hard to understand what you were saying. Maybe next time work on enunciating your words more clearly and feel free to turn the beat up to encourage more energy out of you. Your energy was also low and hurt your delivery. Thanks for sharing though, would love to read the lyrics next time.

Yeah new beats and rap challenge wk 15 should be released out today sunday. Just follow the rules, which is to up vote the wk 15 announcement post, resteem the wk15 announcement post, and submit your video on your profile friday using #rapchallenge as your first tag, then copy and paste that post link and drop it in the comments with your youtube url link when you see the Submission Video post by rondonson for that week. no it's not. especially when one has a cold, got off late form work and decide to just throw something up before the end of the contest deadline.
Thanks for attempting. This wasn't much of a freestyle though. Try formulating some ideas and take a direction and just flow with it. You don't have to be a rapper to get the formula down. But practice would definitely help. And if you really want to earn steem, then I suggest you do something you are passionate about because this entry showed you weren't really feeling it or dedicated to the craft. Conviction originality, creativity onsistency and effort attracts whale votes, I can testify to that.

In the future use YOUTUBE please for uploading. It makes my life easier, Dtube is still very much in alpha/beta and doesnt stream very well IMHO.

I was having the same issues bro, dtube is prone to having issues early on until they smooth it all out, your video keeps skipping and stopping and tripping out.
