Christ the King is a religious and historical monument, located in one of the highest mountains of Río Caribe, Arismendi Municipality, in the north of the Sucre state - Venezuela.
This beautiful monument was built in 1956 under the guidance of Priest Alicio García. The statue is 10 meters high, and resembles Christ the King of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
Christ the King Rio Caribero was designed with open arms carrying a message to each of the tourists that visit the region.
The devotion of the inhabitants is so great, that they deduce that they are protected with the eyes of Christ the King.
To get there, you must take Giraldot street and go up the left side of the hospital, at the end there is a viewpoint that allows us to observe an excellent panoramic view of the town of Río Caribe, where you can see the sea and the Morro from Puerto Santo - Municipality Arismendi.
