"Don't lose heart. I will never forsake you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God." ~Our Lady of Fatima, June 1917
In praying the Holy Rosary we are not worshiping Mary. We are simply asking Mary to pray to Jesus for us. How often do we ask those on Earth to pray for us? How natural is it for children go to mom when they want something from dad? (I still do that, to this day!) Ask yourself, how much more powerful would it be to ask Jesus's own mother kneeling before Him at His feet to pray to Him for you and your prayer requests? Who was it that interceded on behalf of the wedding guests at the feast in Cana when they ran out of wine? Our Blessed Mother never goes against His will. In fact, she stated clearly at the wedding feast, "Do whatever He tells you." John 2:5
Jesus loves her like any son loves his mother, and yet more perfectly than any son could love his mother. If it is the will of God, he will not deny her requests.
Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!
