Back on steemit, steemits after time out

in #retired7 years ago

Hi everybody, not posted for sometime, been busy on the bungalow, getting the AC in our bedroom and marking out the rear garden for a swimming pool.

Havin got our yellow book (tabin ban) which is a life long certificate of residency for Thailand, also includes a Thai Id number.

Our water filter decided to not work, resulting in brown water through the taps, after taking the carbon filter out and cleaning, emptied the 50 liter tank it was ok,after chatting to the staff at home pro Phuket the filter should be rinsed every few week, thank for the info !

I've not been to Rescue either to be honest, we had some friends over from Koh Tao and from Phuket so it was a catch up over a few weeks, so beer flowing and good food.

My fasting took a knock, but I still managed but not my normal 20/4 not eating, eating window, and also ate some carbs as well, but now back on my normal eating window.

The thing is that at my age (58) and retired you gotta live and enjoy your life, which is what I like about the fasting way of life, I know if I stick to it religiously the results would happen quicker, but as I say you gotta live.

We have our yearly visa on Monday (fingers crossed) and the pool is going to start on Tuesday, 10 days for the pool to be completed, it's only a small 3x5 pool which is more enough for me and my wife to keep cool.

We are in the rainy season in Phangnga but not much ☔️, so again sorry for those who follow me.

Stay safe steemits IMG_3521.JPGIMG_4003.JPG

Enjoy life, in joy brother! You guys are a inspiration to all those in gloomy grey uk! <3

I know how hard fasting is I'm currently on day 12 of a 24/7 water only fast.
Here is my latest report, if you're interested.

Good luck with your fast.
Steem on.

I'm not just water fasting, that must be very hard, my eating window is 4pm to 8pm, went off the rails a little, but back now, you must see some great results from not eating at all

Cheers @badbadger,
20:4 fasting has great benefits too.
I typically do 16:8 even when not fasting by accident. It's just the way it is for me.
I've already noticed some good results, the unexpected eyesight improvement is the best though.
Steem on.

Yes my eyes are not so,foggy, and no brain fog either, seem more alert, strangely I miss it when I don't follow it, much prefer to live this way, with a treat now and again

What was the reason you decided to use the IF

The "IF"?
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean.

Intermittent fasting

I didn't decide to do "IF", it's the result of a busy life.
I'd wanted to try a 40 day water only fast for years. Now seemed like a good time.

So lovely to see you getting everything all finished just the way you two want it! Thanx for taking us all along for the ride!

Bigger day tomorrow, pool being started !
