Nice! I need to try that one out. I have 3 goumi berry plants growing in my front food forest. I always seem to get goumi confused with goji. Goumi are nitrogen fixers and the berries look similar to goji. They taste good when fully ripe but not great if you get them at all early.
Oh? I need more nitrogen fixers. What's their growth habit look like?

Here is another good site: http://tcpermaculture.blogspot.com/2012/02/permaculture-plants-goumi.html
Cool, thanks! That looks like a good one. 6-10 feet tall. I assume they can be managed to stay shorter? That's about where I'm gonna keep my peaches, so it'd be cool to manage a nitrogen fixing shrub underneath a few of them.

I would assume so but I have not tried pruning mine.

Mine are less than a year old but they should grow as an upright shrub to around 8 feet I height. Check out this site for some more info: http://www.uncommonfruit.cias.wisc.edu/goumi-gumi
