Felt these should go together..Couldn't get the double rainbow all in one shot! Beautiful experience in Taos, NM just after a storm while traveling for work.

Cool! Never seen a double rainbow before.
It was even more exciting being able to see both sides!!! Plenty of SBD's for us all! 🍀 Better find that leprechaun lol!
When I saw these photos at first, I thought it was Greece vs. NM.
Beautiful light and rainbows.
I want to travel to Greece one day. I hear its beautiful. Such beautiful views in NM, but I've never been across the world. What a pleasure that would be! Thanks for taking a look :) I was so happy to have caught those photos.
they are the best double rainbow shots I have ever seen, probably. They are heaps better than my best ones.
:(
seriously though they are gorgeous. I look at the sky most of the time. I used to work installing rooves (is that the plural of roof? it somehow doesn't look right. Must be roves, no spell check says yes, but I call shenanigans), so you never want to look down.
well, that parenthesis was probably too long to not break that sentence asunder
lol
I mean to say that when is standing on joists and batterns over sheer drops, one looks at the sky a lot
And now I go out every night for three hours with the houndbeasts and we see the galaxy
lovely and so pleased to have met you
Pleased to have met you as well! If you ever travel from Spain to US take some time in the NM mountains.
I am afraid I can almost guarantee I'll never see that with my own eyes. Not keen on your borders, lol.
shame because great people and amazing landscape.
but I wouldn't have visited Rome in the time of Caligula either.
(and I am not referring to the current administration here either. I decided that when I was about 15 so like, right after the Carter years. The last reasonably sane one)
the time of Caligula is long. lol
hope I haven't offended anyone, wasn't my intention.
big hugs
Gorgeous shots! Rare as they are, I love seeing double rainbows too. The last time I briefly saw one was over a year ago. Not sure if it's common thing or just a lingering childhood practice, but do you also make a wish when you see one?
I didn't know you were supposed to. I missed my chance!!! I will if I see one again. Wished on plenty of shooting stars though lol!
the more you travel in motor vehicle, the more you see.
Shame in one sense, but I am sure it's one of the few pleasures of professional drivers lives.
well, that sounds a bit harsh.
But I'm glad I didn't end up doing only that.
I suppose this is a cryptic comment, but what I mean to say is, all rainbows are double rainbows, that's just the optics. science dude.
But it's the combination of lighting factors and space to see.
but start looking every time and you'll soon see. Only as rare as rainbows.
Which where I live means rare. It rained a few drops this morning then nothing
Nice one. Tough contest. https://steemit.com/rickysphotochallenge/@hackerwhacker/rickysphotochallenge-week-4
