No longer just a fantasy.
What were considered crackpot theories just a decade ago are now beginning to take on an air of feasibility.
The toppling of statues usually occurs at the end of or during a conquest. Think Saddam Hussein in Iraq and Isis in the surrounds for contemporary equivalents.
But memorial defacing, vandalism and destruction of "the others" history is as old as conflict itself. How many egyptian and other ancient statues are missing their faces? In fact that is where the word "defaced" originates from.
Complex things unravel rapidly when equilibrium is disturbed. Where will this end?
Nice to see you around @gavvet! :)
It's been a while.
