I had the same situation here in Lviv this summer. We were waitting for our plane and i ordered 1 latte coffee and 1 fresh juice. When i saw the bill i was shoked... it was 60 grivnas ( 2.5$) for coffee and 80 grivnas (3,2$) for my juice. Woow...here...in Lviv 🤔🙄
Airports are very expensive places to buy something.
The second situation i had in Bulgaria when i wanted to change money from ukrainian grivnas to bulgarian levs. They saw that i'm just a tourist and asked me for an additional fee for 4$. So i just came to another bank.
We need to be very attentive especially in another countries.
Thanks for relating your experiences. You did well to go to another bank!
