At the John Deere factory, it was refreshing to find out that if an employee comes up with an idea to save the company money, that employee would get a percentage of the cost savings as well as the customer would get a lower cost item. At the Caterpillar factory (usually a more heavy duty machine than John Deere)...when asked how do they come up with their sky-high pricing, the answer was simple. It's what the consumer will pay, no other reason. In conclusion, if you are paying too much for a product, I think it's either you have no options at the time OR a fool and his money are soon parted.

Hmmm "I think it's either you have no options at the time OR a fool and his money are soon parted." In my case I hope that I know which one it is!!" Hahaha
