Hello all, this is my afternoon road bike ride through Los Gatos and South San Jose, CA. I passed Almaden Lake park which is always peaceful.
The ride was 23 miles and almost 1k of climbing. Nice weather in January at 68* f

I like nature and usually try to snap a few interesting shots along the way. Here is some greenery growing along hicks road in Los Gatos. There is Guadalupe creek running along side of this road.

There are a few residence roads connecting with hicks and there are some tight turns. This is one of the rounded mirrors to help them see around the corner.
I wish I had time and motivation for things like this. At least not at winter time. Spring and summer is the time I love to go jogging. I loved riding bycikle in my childhood, because there was huge forest where I lived, now it’s just a roads, highways, buildings and cars. It’s just doesn’t motivate me to ride bycikle.
Too bad, if your in the city of NY, there is not too many foothill where you can escape. Central Park ? Guee you need to cross a bridge... Spring is a few months away!

Your ride stats looks good. Almost 1K climb over 23 minutes. The median RPM cadence of 76 tells e that you had a pretty scenic route. You must enjoyed the surroundings. Live on Mate! Happy cycling.
I've learned to keep my cadence up as it is easier on the knees. I used to mash the pedals a lot more on climbs, no more of that. (I am off of the saddle at steep portions of the climb)
