As of yesterday, RUNCOIN, my experimental coin for runners, has a space of its own on the interwebs. Or, in less pretentious terms, it has its own website, at runcoin.space.
The content part is intentionally left scarce, as many things will be hopefully added once I will gauge the real interest for such a tool. That should happen in about 2 months from now, after all the distribution rounds have been consumed. Which reminds me, there is a current distribution going on right now, for the next 10 days.
So, what's your opinion? Things to add, things to take out?
Looking forward for your feedback.

No remarks whatsoever. Keep it simple.
We runners are an unpretentious lot :)
Runcoin website looks awesome...I hope very soon, Runcoin will have good market cap...just develop some kind of health based app, which will run on burning of Runcoins.
I tried bitwalking before but that seems to have gone no-where.
Im interested in mining via running, but it looks like I missed some of the initial distribution waves.
A bit injured now but I did 5km in the week, what counts as proof
Nice!
Welp, when ever I get around to getting the headgear to test Logic Coin, I will definitely have to create a website for it like that.
Great job.
@dragosroua,
If there is an ICO, I wish to check the concept behind the coin and the owner of the project! Personally I hate ICO or ITO! Coz I have had very bad experiences with them :/
If the coin has a strong concept behind it and use high level technologies and owner is a trust worthy enough, then it might be a worth investment for any of us!
I will check on this coin! Thanks for updating!
Cheers~
WOW! Glad to hear that. Kepp it going :)
I love the look of the website.
So clean, simple and minimalistic, it just looks so great and serene.
I think it looks good as it is now
You are working really hard my friend.
The site looks pretty nice and elegant.
The content is simple, clear and concise.
Perhaps I missed instructions on how to get Runcoins, I mean, how to Proof of Run.
A good thing would be to add links to Strava, Garmin Connect and other running suppliers, in order to start attracting their attention as well.
Advertisements of the site at Bitcoin Faucets would help too. (ie: bitkong)
All my support to this initiative!
This is something I'd like to participate in. I love the idea and I'm an avid runner!
I'll come back, check out the website in more detail, and get set up to participate in the distribution this evening after I leave work. I'm using my comment here to easily navigate back to this post later.
I'll be following this as you develop it in the coming months.
Hi nice idea. we the runners are millions around the world, and if this coin bring us benefits like marathon inscriptions or racer could be a great help.
If you are runner, I'm following you
OF COURSE I`M RUNNER AND I LOVE IT.

I absolutely love this idea. Can we get a SwimCoin too? :)
Will look forward to see how this grows, I'm getting my running gear on over the next few days and going for my first run in 3 years :1)
Looking at the comments below it looks like you have tapped into something that has legs ;-)
I think the website is a nice front door to the coin for now.
Once you make the decision to go ahead with it (and you know you will go ahead with it) you'll need more content, like stories from runners earning and spending RUNCOIN.
I think the potential for this is huge, and perhaps even the trigger for a massive shift in the way promoting a healthy and active lifestyle is managed.
People like money, and if they get paid to make the right choices, then they are much more likely to make the right choices.
@dragosroua, saving the world, one runner at a time ;-)
@dragosroua what information do you need to execute a transfer to my open ledger account? I just set it up and I'm not familiar with the platform. I see a bitcoin address assigned to my wallet but I'm not sure this is what you need.
Here is my first post which shows proof of run on August 23.

Please let me know what information you need for my open ledger account.
Thanks for setting up this challenge and website! It's motivated me to start training again even though it's still pretty hot and humid where I live.
Could RUNCOIN be mined as an act of live analytics? Would Garmin techies be willing to get on board?!
