So I'm quite proud of myself: a FULL working week and i managed to get my three runs in, nothing too spectacular, especially given that I had to do the two 5Ks early and then late, and mostly in the dark in both cases, which adds an extra challenge.
It's mainly the dark that's slowed me down, so slower than usual paces for the last two runs, one has to be a little cautious with one's footing!
Sunday's run: earlyish 10K
Loved this run, I was up for it... headed out along my long route, did a couple of extra out and backs along the way to make it up to 10K and very happy with my pace overall.
Tuesday's run: an early doors 5K
I was out at 7.00 which is as late as I like to leave it, this one was very much about just getting it in. I wasn't particularly in or not in the mood for it, just a standard run, a bit slow, on account of the dark mainly I think!
Thursday's run: an early PM 5K
I did actually get up at 6.20 to go out for an early run, but on noticing BTC had gone through $100K early hours I decided to stay in an jiggle a few funds about in the early morning and do a few other chores.
Then I hit work and headed out after, so a classic post-work run like I always used to do, but only my second P.M. run of the year I think.
And it was tipping it down! At least it was warm, I actually over-layered for this but at least my chest didn't get cold, and it was windy.
A slow time, 25.20 for a 5K, but this was wet, dark and with a headtorch, and many, many puddles to dodge, and windy too!
Final thoughts and next week's plans...
I'm happy enough with this, for December it was warm enough but that dark is a challenge, and that Sunday when I can leave a little later to run in the light is a precious thing.
I am toying with the idea of running every weekday next week, I'll see how I feel, they would be gentle short 5K runs.

Nicely done, good job with keeping up with it. Post like yours reminds me I need to get back at some sort of exercise routine. Starting is always the hardest part.
True - starting back is just a matter of easing in 10, 15, 20 mins at first makes it feel less daunting!
Every day next week sounds interesting. I have been doing that, trying to keep my heart rate under 122 beats a minute (my easy zone 2, 180 minus my age) It is a lot harder than I thought, trying to be efficient running that slow, I can almost walk faster !LOL and I had to change my workout to time based instead of distance.
