Definite upvote for that callout. I understand that if it is true, then by all means give the guy an upvote. It pulls on the heartstrings of people so they do an upvote. Heck, I will admit that I did an upvote it yesterday just by knowing that people will upvote it later. Even if I knew it was totally scammy, not true, or even just trying to make a quick buck, I was going to upvote it because I know for a fact people will also upvote it. I am guilty of being greedy on that one, but until people start posting value add posts, I might as well start becoming a whale sooner than later.
I've been too poor communities but I would not pictures of theses areas to earn money. I was also approached by questionable character one night at gas station and I left right away. This individual ended up commuting an atrocity later that year. I don't write about the details because it is profiting of off the misfortune of the victims.
