This post is the post of submission of your photographs. This week is the 102nd of the photography contest. They illuminate our children's eyes, make us dream adults, they are big, small, wooden or modern, sail or motor, and are the only tools we have to go out there, in the middle of last places of freedom. Seaphotography Contest rend hommage cette semaine aux bateaux. On attend vos photos avec impatience !

RULES

1- Post your photography on the monday submission post announcing the contest of the week (Below this post!)

Hi everyone this is my entry SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST • WEEK 102 • "SEA and BOATS !!!"

Original boat. Thank you for your participation

This is known as a Coracle.

It is a Vietnamese round boat. The Vietnamese people have a long history of sailing and boats, however underneath French colonial rule, the French put a high tax on "boats", so to get around this the Coracle was invented... It is just a giant floating basket so not necessarily a "boat", and hence no tax needed. This being said many Vietnamese use this particular sailing device to go out fishing every day.

France and taxes... It's a long and not finished story ! Thank you for your participation

This is my first entry! (don't know if I have to write a seperate post?)

This sunrise shot was taken in Galibi, which is in Suriname, South America. We stayed at and indigenous tribe for a few days. There are no roads leading in so the boats are mainly used for transportation (and fishing). It's rlght were ocean meets river and if you look across you can see French Guyana and more to the middle is the Atlantic Ocean.
