It's beginning to become a real burden to look at the news.
There isn't much of a story yet, but since this story is very close to home for me, it makes me fearful to raise a child in America. What new story am I referring to? Yet another shooting in Orlando, FL.

They are saying this isn't "Terrorism", but what else do you call a disgruntled employee shooting up his workplace? Why is someone who creates "Terror" not considered a "Terrorist" unless they pledge to ISIS?
I think by "terrorism" they mean violence that comes from some kind of larger organization and where there's a larger agenda behind it, as opposed to when there's just one guy and his emotions. With that said, when the end result is death it doesn't make a whole lot of difference to the bereaved how the crime is defined. And also, sometimes acts of violence are officially attributed to a lone actor, when in fact, there is an organization and agenda behind it.
There were 8 millions deaths during 1914-1918 wwI. So it is getting better, but not as good as we would like.
Considering we aren't in a World War, it feels like we might as well be soon!
