Bots are a huge part of Steem and that will never be different with such a technology. You have them also on all other social medias but there they work silently in the background and few people talk about it. Here everyone can run their own bots. And YES, there will be content posting bots out there as well. Some will even become very sophisticated and create better content than 99% of all other users. AI is already very far in doing that.

Steem is not a community but a social media blockchain. The communities will be build on top of that in million different ways. There is the community function for accounts upcoming with hardfork 20. And also SMT's will do there part in creating communities. Bots will always be part of the game. The best services on Steemit are all bots. There more you get into Steem the more you will realize that they are everywhere and that most of them are actually pretty cool and helpful for the Steem growth.

You are right, this is a social media blockchain.
I believe small topical communities will be created inside this platform.

Content creation AI is being worked on and it's getting very good. The top AI companies will keep the good stuff to themselves, but they've started to license out some of their tech for a pretty high price. Luckily for us authors aren't very highly paid in general, but language capabilities are one of the necessary domains for their AI to master to dominate other fields so it's very advanced by this point.

An AGI would be able to curate and create posts that would reap rewards at near maximum efficiency levels, with some initial capital it and similar AI would dominate the platform in short time.

I agree with you.
