Hey I was wondering if you could tell me what determines how much the payouts are, as I used to get a lot more for the same amount of SP only a few weeks ago. The whole delegation/vesting thing is so confusing to me even now that I'm still just trying to get a more complete handle on that.
Hey @edb1984, the payout is sadly reduced due to the STEEM price drop, which as a result reduced the vote-value.

The higher the vote-value => the more rewards. While you get less Steempower if Steem is higher, you get more SBD since SBD is pegged internally to 1$ - even though it gets traded outside way higher.

Same here. I was in for 50 SP but I reversed my delegation after seeing no benefits
Oh I'm seeing benefits as I have like 4000 delegated but initially several weeks back I was getting over double what I was getting now. I can imagine 50 SP would be better spent in some other way or which needs holding longer term. It's great that you can actually do something with the holdings though I wish I did it sooner.
LOL maybe 50 SP can buy me another star on the whitelist ranking. Had a look at your content and it is encouraging to see that a large investment of SP exonerates one from producing regular content. It's like paying for a very long vacation.

Have you heard of the transparencybot? It is posting on just about everyone that is using a bot service for their posts. It is like a spam post on the blog and does not look good.
I'm not sure if anything can be done about it, but I'm sure many people are not pleased with the added spam to their blog posts.
Us 'minnows' do not have much power to do anything here...

Hi @smartsteem i wanted to find out who to talk to about getting whitelisted i received a message saying that it could not be done and was wanting to find out why...
@therealwolf @smartsteem @smartmarket Please can you explain what has happened to selling votes? it was fine then it was off for a change up because of low rep votes? then it was on again where you got money for having a low amount in and seemed like limited votes and now it is off again why is there no transparency in this surely the customers need to know what is going on? I'm not sure what you mean - afaik you're selling votes and the balance is getting added once per day to your real balance due to the payout being so low per vote - around 0.001 SBD / STEEM
