People are more encouraged how to be creative in the hunt for the $ than how to create a good quality content.
Those two aren't exclusive, you can make money and create good quality content.
They are encouraged to be creative because they get rewarded money, for being creative and original, and with a certain quality, and not only that, the numerous people that are on the platform didn't all start by investing money into Steem Power, but instead a lot started at little to no steem power and you can see how they grew, each and every account shows the transaction history of that account, and you can discern if people invested, or not.
Someone with 10k + in the account who is randomly rewarding 2 or 3 commentators with 100% upvote will be crowded.
People aren't all the same, not only that I don't see someone with that large of an investment randomly rewarding.. And what do you want to do about that anyway?
That popularity doesn't come because of his work and quality but because of his wallet.
Yes, but we are talking about people being encouraged to create because of rewards, being creative in turn is encouraged, not about what SOME people think of someone.
And this is something that in a long run is pulling back the creativity cos creativity is less rewarded than touching the big ones.
You must believe that touching the big ones doesn't require creativity.
You must believe that touching the big ones doesn't require creativity.
Indeed, It is actually killing the creativity. Why would someone put effort if that is not rewarded or less rewarded than just following a current. Of course not all people are same, thanks God, but Steemit in order to be more fair and successful in a long run will have to address some issues, also related to rewarding system and distribution of power.
Well makes no sense to continue, we have different view about the community.
Just short about distribution of power only based on SP, should be also on karma. I see this as an vulnerability to the system, only money gives you power and if you have bad intentions you can work against the system once you have purchased your power and influence in the market.
My only problem is if you follow people that try and explain crypto to newcomers and steem. They all put out their own video explaining the exact same things. exact points you could put the videos right next to each other and they are cookie cutter. How is that really contributing helpful content if its exactly like who you are trying to get views from. People stopped getting paid as much while competing on youtube. Now that is moving into the steemit world it looks like to me. Also the referral codes to other businesses and mlm marketing is a big turn off to successful investors. Advisors steer people away from things that look even remotely like that because they do not last. Not saying steem is a scam but its only worth the faith people put in it. Its got me questioning big time the future and what I think of it. I could be wrong ive been wrong many times in my life just saying. This place would totally suck if because I don't use your code or upvote I get ignored because I'm wasting your time.
You dissecting my opinion and adding yours doesn't make mine wrong. I know there are cookie cutter vloggers because they voice how others made their video and how it sucked then they do the same video with a different person explaining it. How many people have to explain how to buy bitcoin with a coinbase referall link? I'm supposed to believe they are trying to "help" people? yeah right that is laughable they are just using the same tags as the current trending posts to jump on the band wagon. I guess I should just give in and start using click bait titles like everybody else fuck it.
