RE: SPK Network AMA

Yeah and that's how I understood the 'upload offline' that it's more how the system schedules and incrementally communicates that content to the server hosting it. It's still going to be down to internet speed though and the only solution for those individuals is to only move small videos.

Obviously this is something you can't control but my point why it might be a worry is that a large majority of users here simply can't be included. So then the age old rule of 'know your audience' seems to be ignored. If you're providing a system where so many are excluded then you're going to need to bring in a better audience first.

That's what I've repeated to some of your team members.. that I believe the current SPK platform needs to build the audience first. I find it worrying overall that no one really pays attention to video here on Hive and the many closed bubbles they're all chasing a few dollars on.

So then content creators don't get recognized. Sure a nice upvote from the @spknetwork account gives reward and the illusion that that person is receiving and contributing value.. but if no one is ACTUALLY watching then it's all smoke and mirrors.

In time people just walk away if no one is watching. What remains is small time money hungry fools. That likely keep those pennies hoarded and aren't going to be true contributors to the money growth of the network.

That's the story of HIVE really.
