We will also be reviewing the price of the Quest potions in DEC tokens as compared to their expected value in additional quest rewards and we may reduce the price in DEC tokens in the future based on that review if appropriate.
I think a lot of people may have missed this point, which doesn't mean 750 DEC per potion is locked in stone. And while admit, it hurts right now especially those of us that just use one account and really enjoyed getting the potions for a decent price...I think long term this really helps the game.
And that's always the game plan for Splinterlands as far as I can see since it's birth...It's always looking long term.
I'd give the team the benefit of the doubt that they know how to make sure DEC, SPS and even credits have an important part to play in the eco-system. So far, they have been crushing it.
This one sentence you quoted is the one that nearly everyone in this thread needs to go back and re-read, twice.
I totally understand the frustration of newbies to the game, but for the newbies out there reading this; trust that good things are coming and the devs know what they're doing. I've seen shit projects. I've seen cash grabs. This isn't that. This is a very necessary rebalancing because DEC is going up. This is a market thing. It's not really a devs thing.
