Good stuff - it's tempting to want to buy more packs, but I think at this point it's smarter to wait until P2 is over and vouchers are no longer needed for packs.
Are you going to buy any packs to hold long term as well? I think i'm going to buy ~100 packs or so to hold on to long term. I've watched the value of previous sets skyrocket and seems like a solid play.
yeah I am going to sit on some unopened packs and chill for a bit to earn more SPS.
My goal is to try and get to at least Bronze II by the end of each season. I am going to start doing a 10 battle daily challenge for myself first thing in the morning before gym.
Currently writing my post. It will help me kind of figure out my strategies and such and be accountable to myself, lol. Making it part of the grind.
I wish I could go that hard into it, but I am basically paying bills with this stuff right now so I am trying to get to a place to where I can accumulate again, which is what I am using Splinterlands for right now, all my other rewards are basically getting paid out to bills and such.
I feel you bro, I had to focus on my bills first before even considering anything like this. Crushing debts feels great though, and I've worked big time to reduce my monthly expenses except for what I really need - food, water, shelter, etc. Everything else I'm able to pocket and invest now.
Splinterlands looks incredibly promising as a long term play. Even though my yields are only 20%ish right now from rentals, I'm quickly learning how to boost that, both through airdrop restaking (i'm up to almost 14 SPS/day now after selling a few summoners that weren't earning me shit in rentals).
The value of cards long term is what really intrigues me. After seeing the Yodin Zaku i pulled in the summer of 2020 now worth 30x what i sold it for, I'm a believer, lol.
I may try and play a little daily too, I never really took the time to learn how the hell to play Splinterlands lol, so I've always sucked at it. Might be a good way to unwind at the end of the day, like you say!
I have about 2 more years of the big bills, about a year and a half of child support left and then about 2 years of debt… well not counting the student loans… but yeah we won’t talk about that, lol.
