Lately there have been some big movers around the National sports team. One of those was Blake Griffin, probably one of the biggest trades I have seen in recent years, surprisingly the Clippers have made the other one I can think of in Chris Paul last year. Blake is relatively young still, and it was kinda out of the blue. At least with Demarcus Cousins, everyone knew he was unhappy. So it poses the question, what are the clippers doing, looks like a full rebuild. Good thing the clippers had the pow wow and force DeAndre to re sign with them. Bet Mark Cuban is laughing.
Now to Football, we just saw the Chiefs trade Alex Smith. Smith has only gone to the playoffs 4 of the 5 years for Kansas, and is coming of a career year, but hey lets get a 3rd round pick for him, and maybe a sandwich. This guy gets no respect, and he is a decent quarterback. So this is going to make the off season very interesting with Cousin Mania coming. I hear he has already booked a tour bus to start the interviewing process. Wonder if he ends up in Denver......I bet @broncnutz would love that.
Lately I watched soccer, little american football and playoffs basketball.
Actually this year will be grandiloquence for soccer.
Blake not to happy to be transfer and heard the news from twitter.
Glad he gets it. It is all business.
Next time he plays Clippers, he will have a monster game.
Keep on steemin'
Ya he will either score a ton, or foul out quickly.
Alex Smith remains one of the most underrated players in the League, despite the fact that the regular season he finished with the best quarterback rating among all participants.
And yet Chiefs are willing to trade Smith soon.
"Kansas city" does not intend to search for partners to exchange, but I'm open to suggestions. A high likelihood that Smith, who is under contract is owed $17 million next season, will be exchanged for the second time in his career. Asked by journalists if he wants to return to the Chiefs, Smith replied: "are You kidding?".
Chiefs happy with everything that they saw in quarterback Patrick Mahome selected in the first round draft pick in 2017.
Machos is the reason why the club believe that the breakup with Alex Smith will be painless. In the debut game at the 17 th week of the regular season for a first year made 22 of 35 assists for 284 yards with an interception.
When "Kansas city" traded Smith of "San Francisco" in 2013, he paid two the right choice in the second round. This time, you may need even more, given the successful performance of the quarterback lately.
Besides, the League is full of teams that need a quarterback. If kirk cousins decides to stay in the "Washington" that Smith will automatically be considered the best available point guard. Among the potential buyers can be called "NY jets", "Denver", "Jacksonville", "Buffalo", "Cleveland" and "Arizona."
The cardinals were interested in Smith as "Niners", he was exchanged, and "Broncos" are already considering the possibility of sharing. The General Manager of the Browns John Dorsey first gained Smith, when he began working in the Chiefs. Maybe history will repeat itself?
Whatever it was, Alex Smith will often flashed in the media this offseason.
Totally agree, once you get a stigma it is hard to change.
I agree, Alex Smith is definitely underrated. Hes more than a game manager when the play calling allows him to be.
I do agree that the Clippers seem to be moving on from their Big 3. Chris Paul- Houston, Blake Griffin-Detroit, and Deandre well he's just stuck. As a Clipper fan it has been hard to see players leave or get traded yet they made the playoffs every year for the past 5 season I believe.
As for Alex Smith Kudo to him for getting a deal with Washington. While his contract was expiring and getting paid some good cash i would have taken it too. I think Kirk will end up in either Arizona or perhaps Denver. Only time will tell!
Ya, Steve Ballmer is doing the same crap with the Clippers as he did with Microsoft. Tear it down from the inside.
Ha Ha! I truly thought Steve Ballmer was going to help the organization, not trade away key players that built up the Clippers
I think it all spurs from Doc Rivers holding his son's hand and picking him over CP3.
Big sport movement in the USA, most of us are soccer fans example premier league.
Denver would be a great fit for Alex Smith. They need a quarterback badly and John Elway has an eye for talent. Although Smith has been underrated for a long time, I think Elway will see his worth.
Washington has let cousins go and got Alex Smith
Really intesting changes...
the world's most unlucky quarterback. you are first cut from the team by the so-called colin kaepernick team, go to a shit like kansas, have a very good season and move your team up to the playoffs, play 4 touchdowns in the playoffs but defeat the defender. it will not work @ bigram13
Ya maybe Mahoney or what ever his name is will be out of the league in a couple years too.

great people @bigram13
Thanks for sharing this update. I love sports especially football. Alex Smith was not really be fortunate, because even when he was rated the best quarterback player, he is still not regarded in the league., and there is a possibility that he is going to be exchanged the second time in is carrier .
Very funny
l really like yuor post you nice and unique.
@bigram13 I'm new to steemit and I Just found your blog. Great post and I like the variety of content. Huge sports fan and even bigger football nut. Cousins must become a Bronco. This will set them on the path to a revival in the playoffs and rise back to greatness. Will also free up that #5 pick to do something great with. Maybe Fitzpatrick or if they are really lucky Barkley falls to them.
Keep up the great posts. Following for sure.
Blake side by side with Drummond, that's beasterous! But that backcourt is ugly...can't wait to see how this pans out. Either way that Clippers team is a mess, no matter what they do with their draft picks........Deeeeeeeetroit.......Bassssssketballlll
As a Chiefs fan myself, I am happy with this decision and believe majority of the Chiefs Nation will side with me. I admit is underrated and has had a decent career with the Chiefs, but we all know he doesn't have the "it" factor to get us over the hump. Mahomes in his limited role this season has shown potential and he is the "down the field" thrower we need to utilize Tyreek Hill to his full potential. I see this whole situation as a one step back, two step forward approach as it might take Mahomes a couple years but our future does look bright with our young guns in Mahomes, Hunt, & Hill.
l really like your post.please like my post
As a Pistons fan i like the trade, i think SVG had to do something to shake things up, Bradley is a free agent at the end of the year and was likely to get paid elswhere andTobias Harris was playing well but not likely to get you deep in the East without other pieces around him. The first round pick is somewhat of a risky move only guaranteed to top 4 this year when it will still be a stretch to make the playoffs but overall i think Detroit won the trade. In saying that i dont think its a bad trade for the Clippers who are looking to rebuild on the run somewhat.
It has been an interesting week. I think the Pistons overpaid for Blake but the change could be good for him. I actually think Demarcus Cousins seemed in a better place this year mentally than ever before. I was really sad to see him get hurt like that. And I do think Alex Smith is underrated. I dont like the Redskins but I think they are making the right choice to let Cousins go.
Great post men.
