If I have to explain why I love this game, I'd like to remind you of those days when I used to play soccer quite often during my childhood. When we had to sit and watch football on big screens, then later try to copy their style of playing.
We used to tag name of the famous players. I still vividly remember how exciting those moments used to be. We even formed a club. A senior football player taught us the basic skills. We improved a lot in a short period of time and played & won few matches too.
This is about how I started watching and being passionate soccer fan.I like it coz I know it well since childhood. I like it coz I feel this is a sport full of passion, with lots of twists and turns throughout the game. And by the way, it is like the most popular sport in the world today.
Am a big time messi fan so Barcelona is my team but funny enough i love the English premier league more than the La Liga.
World cup is around the corner and am a Nigerian.. So Nigeria is my favorite. Lol, i know many would feel we dont stand a chance but my fingers are crossed on this

In footbal anything can happen. How strong do you think the Nigerian team is compare to other years?
I could compare its strength to that of its 1996 squad that defeated brazil to take home gold in the summer Olympics 96'
I think that it is amazing that Nigeria is there and competing. There are some very good teams like Italy and the Netherlands that missed out this year. Once you are in anything can happen.
