ADSactly Sports: The World's game - The Real "Football"
Source
If someone was to ask you what the most popular sport in the world is, what would you say? The question is not about your favourite sport but rather what you think is the most popular sport according to the majority of people who are sports fans. The answer to this question might differ depending on where you live or grew up. There have long been arguments about the answer to this question. For me, when this debate comes up in conversation with people I know, the argument is usually between hockey, football, basketball and baseball. This is because I live in North America. The reality is that these sports don’t even come close to being as popular as “The World’s” game. The first and only “football” in the opinions of so many. Soccer!
Statistically speaking there is no sport even remotely close to having the popularity worldwide that soccer does. In fact, the numbers associated with soccer's popularity are jaw-dropping. According to WorldAtlas.com in 2018, an estimated 4 billion people follow or express an interest in soccer. That is more than half the people on this entire planet.
Association football, or soccer, is the most popular sport in the world. It is estimated that more than half of the world's population consider themselves to be association football (soccer) fans. The sport enjoys an estimated 4.0 billion person following, and a global sphere of influence. Ancient soccer has been traced to China, as early as the 2nd Century. The Romans, Greeks, and Japanese have also been thought as possible first players of the sport. Contemporary soccer began in England, where it amassed considerable interest and spread to other parts of the world. The sport is more popular in Europe and Americas than in any other continent. The sport is characterized by two teams of eleven player and two goals. The objective of the sport is to drive a ball into the goal defended by the opponent team.

Soccer has roots that go as far back if not further than most sports and is a game that is beloved all over the world. Many sports claim to be the most popular in specific areas. For example, Hockey would be the most popular sport in Canada and in the United States, there is always the debate about baseball and football being the most popular. However, these sports can’t even hold a candle to the global popularity of soccer. Not only is soccer the most popular sport in the world, it is gaining in popularity all the time. In the past decade, the growth of popularity in North America has been significant. More and more soccer programs are popping up and more young “elite” athletes are choosing soccer over sports like football and baseball.
Source
Not only has soccer gained a huge following, its fanbase is one of the most passionate groups in sports. The passion towards the sport is evident during events such as the World Cup and Euro Cup. Fans are extremely knowledgeable about the game and its players. There is a sense of history to the game that has created a solid foundation for the sport. Fans are not only passionate but they are also very loyal. They cheer their favourite players and teams with an undying love that is second to none. Elite players in soccer are elevated to god-like status and not only with their home teams or countries but around the world. You don’t have to be a soccer fan to know the names Beckham, Ronaldo, Messi and Ibrahimović. These have become almost household names to even the most casual sports fans. Soccer is truly at the forefront of sports.
Soccer has become a huge industry raking in billions of dollars annually. It is now more televised than ever and its media exposure is growing all the time. Several soccer teams are considered to be the most valuable sports teams in the world with values of some franchises exceeding $3 billion.
Soccer is the biggest global sport and a top 10 sport in all countries measured, as well as the dominant sport in South America, Europe and Africa. The world cup final is watched by an estimated 600 million people and the annual CL final by more than 300 million. More than 200 countries take part in the world cup qualifying. Has 5 of 10 world's highest attended leagues and stars Messi and Ronaldo in top 10 paid sportsmen.

So how has soccer gained so much notoriety? What makes it the sport of choice for so many? I decided I needed to look into why more than half the world seems to have this connection with Soccer.
Accessibility and Simplicity
Soccer is a sport that is easily accessible to anyone. It doesn’t require a great deal of equipment or extras to play. All you need is a ball and space. Many sports require a special equipment or supplies in order to be able to play properly. You see images all the time of kids from all over the world playing soccer wherever they can find a space. It doesn’t need to be on a soccer field with nets. It can literally be anywhere. Here at my school, there will be kids playing on the pavement and shooting against the net the made with backpacks against the wall. In fact, in many cases, you don't need a net at all. The game is converted to keep away and passing skills. Soccer is so accessible that you can even play it without a ball. The passion for the sport leads kids to find any way possible to play. Check out this video of kids playing soccer in Cameroon. Children’s passion for soccer surpasses any obstacles. As you can see, an empty plastic bottle becomes a full-on soccer game.
In North America, more and more kids are getting involved in soccer at a young age. The cost to play sports like football and hockey and many others can be very expensive while it is relatively affordable to play soccer.
The simplicity of soccer makes it a sport that anyone can play without lots of extra skills or training. In its purest form soccer is passing and kicking a ball around and trying to put it in a net. Although there are some intricate rules that must be followed as you advance in the competitive levels, soccer at its roots is a simple sport for all to play. It can be played from a very young age. Hockey is a sport that requires the ability to skate in order to play the game well or effectively. Anyone can kick and pass a ball making the entry into the sport of soccer easier at any age.
A Year Round Global Phenomenon
There are a tremendous number of professional soccer leagues all over the world for fans to enjoy. There have been many debates about what the best domestic leagues in the world are. Debates that can get heated as passionate fans list off all the reasons why their favourite league is the best. The reality is they are all extremely good leagues. Each league features some of the best players and teams in the world. Some of the top leagues in the world include:
League | Country |
---|---|
La Liga | Spain |
The Premier League | England |
Serie A | Italy |
Ligue 1 | France |
Bundesliga | Germany |

Now, this is just the beginning of the excitement when it comes to soccer. Not only do teams in these leagues play a highly competitive season against each other, they also compete for the opportunity to play against the top teams from other leagues in high profile “elite” leagues such as the UEFA Champions League and the Eurpoa League. Th Champions League is a group style tournament where the best teams from Europe compete for recognition as the best of the best. Big time money and bragging rights are on the line in this best on best competition.
The UEFA Champions League is an annual continental club football competition organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and contested by top-division European clubs. It is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world and the most prestigious club competition in European football, played by the national league champions (and, for some nations, one or more runners-up) of the strongest UEFA national associations. The UEFA Champions League final is the most watched annual sporting event worldwide. The final of the 2012–13 tournament had the highest TV ratings to date, drawing 360 million television viewers

For the casual fan like myself it can get a little bit confusing at times but for the avid soccer fan, they know all the ins and outs of every league and potential title. For this reason, soccer has become a sport that is very much a year-round event. Where many sports have dedicated seasons and breaks, soccer leagues flow into each other and therefore fans have access to their favourite players and teams almost all year.
The World Cup of Soccer
Then there is the FIFA World Cup and the European Cup where the focus shifts from leagues and club teams to National teams. The World Cup is played every 4 years and is for the right to call your nation the best soccer nation in the world. It is one of the most highly watched events in the world. From qualifying matches to the announcement of the draw for the group stages and the tournament play itself, fans can't get enough. The TV ratings for the group announcement are huge as fans are eager to see who their country will play in the group stage and the viewership for the World Cup itself exceeds 3 billion viewers.
More than one billion fans tuned in to watch the final of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, with the competition reaching a global in-home television audience of 3.2 billion people, according to final figures from FIFA and Kantar Media.

The most interesting part of the World Cup might be the road to qualification. These qualification games are taking place all throughout the year in different parts of the world. Some teams automatically qualify based on past performance but many teams have to fight and scrap their way through four years to secure one of the final spots. Once there, anything can happen. If you think the fans are passionate about their favourite club teams, just take one look at a World Cup match and you will see sports passion personified.
The size and scope of the soccer industry are only just getting ramped up. This industry is growing rapidly as North America starts to become more enamoured and engaged with the sport. The MLS league has started to see its popularity grow and they have even attracted some well known European players to come and play. The US has seen some moderate success in international soccer which has created more interest for young athletes and as this interest grows the industry will continue to boom. I can’t say that I am an avid fan of soccer but I do enjoy watching the occasional match and I am all in when it comes to the World Cup, even if Canada never qualifies.

I have only touched the tip of the iceberg on what makes soccer so popular. I am sure you could list off several more things that I have not noted. I do apologize to any who I have offended by using the term “soccer” throughout this article. It just helped to keep things clear for all.
Are you a passionate soccer fan? What makes you love soccer so much? Do you have a favourite soccer team or league or championship? I look forward to hearing your stories.

Great post from you
Thanks for sharing..
@adsactly, @broncofan99
I will not be offended by the term of "soccer" :) It makes in the article a clear distinction between Football (which is mainly played by trowing or running with a ball ?) and European Football, where only 1 player may touch the ball with his hands on the field :)
What makes it special according to me is that it is one of the few sports where not the best team always wins. Lots of upsets happen during a competition. A team can be a huge favorite have plenty shots on goal, hit the posts many of time during a match and still can loose or only draw!
While I do like the American sports also, I do find it strange that a team which wins the Superbowl, Stanly Cup or NBA finals, call themselves World Champion :)
Like written in the article, not a lot of knowledge is required to watch a game! Which makes it accessible for kids at young age and even wifes :)
I am really looking forward to the world cup! I look forward to watch the games of Belgium with my kids. Even if they win there first match, Belgium goes crazy :)
But we have to honest! Football matches can be boring! And lots of foul play happens. Every player is trying to cheat, with (swalbes, acting to be hit by an opponent), trying to gain time and so on!
American sports or much fairer in this manner!
I am hosting a Steem World Cup contest and it is great to see that people from all over the world are participating in my @sbcbot World Cup Contest! Could also be related with the prize pool of 100 SBD!
Feel free to join!
You can register on my blog!
Cheers,
Peter
Thanks for such a thought out and relevant response. I agree that there are fewer upsets that happen in soccer and in the top leagues there are teams that are great every year. More parody would make these games and leagues much more engaging for sure. I would have to disagree with the cheating statement. There are plenty of teams and players trying to cheat in American sports. From tar on a baseball, stealing calls from the sidelines and illegal curves in sticks. Everyone is trying to get an advantage.
Mhh, I did overestimate the fairness of the games in the US. Which suddenly reminds of the "Deflated ball" gate with from Tom Brady and the Patriots.
What I do like about the US system is that they try to create teams of equal strength with the drafts and the salary cap! This kind of things are not possible within football/soccer. Here all teams are having their own youth teams. Hoping on the next Messi or Ronaldo! In the US the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB teams don't really have this!
Which makes the drafting principle possible!
If an article is well written it deserves a great response! So thanks for the article!
Very well said!...
This should not even be up for discussion, no other sport is as popular as soccer globally. In my country players like ronaldo and messi are more popular than some state governors in their own states.
That does not surprise me even a little bit.
Ronaldo and Messi are having better years than some of the governors :)
Clearly football (soccer). No one cares about American football or the super bowl outside of the USA, although it is growing in popularity.
Football is played in every country and has massive coverage for EPL, La Liga and Serie A etc.
Football is popular because only a ball is needed to play. It is a game of skill, where ball control is far more important than physical conditioning. People of all body types and heights can play soccer.
Mhh, great info. I would also have expected Tennis and maybe cycling on the charts.
American Football is a great sport, if you do understand it. It is like playing chess with great athletes trying to hurt each other as much as possible!
There is a reason that not so many games are played during the regular season, their bodies just can't cope with more games!
Once you do appreciate the games, you will discover the beauty of it. Bot for most people it is unknown and therefor unloved!
That is a great representation. Tennis, field hockey and volleyball are very high in world popularity as well. The popularity of table tennis is amazing to me. Asia has a massive population though.
Great article! If you like football and even more betting on it, i'm gonna organize a Steemit contest for the World Cup: follow me, i'm going to publish soon the rules and the way to participate!

Looking forward to your entry! Hoping on lots of friendly banter during the World Cup :)
Sounds like fun
Great! I'm sure of participating in this contest.
I think even in Northern America people are more concious of the popularity of football worldwide.
I have yet to attend a MLS game myself in order to have an opinion about the football in the US but from the information I have, I do like the progress this game has done in United States.
By this I'm not talking about the impact of the almost retired superstars from Europe or similar arguments. I have seen that a kind of an ultras movement has risen in the United States. I got the impression that the fans of some of the teams like Seattle Sounders and Atlanta United are real football aficionados. The kind you would find in Europe or South America. And that is what makes the difference in football.
If they only would addopt a system which will enable promotion and relegation from the MLS, it would bring footbal in the states to a complete new level.
I agree. There is still so much potential for growth in the US market. It is too bad the US didn't qualify for the World Cup. The big exposure brings more athletes to the sport.
FIFA World Cup 2018 is very near to us. The 32 teams are already confirmed.
In this tournament the world world will stop what they are doing and watch the tournament. FIFA world cup final is viewed by most peoples. It is the old and famous tournament.
Brazil is the most successful team with 6 wins. They have participated in all worldcup tournaments untill now.
Real nice
What country are you supporting
I always find it amazing to see how a whole country will come to a standstill to watch their team compete. Especially in the final.
Football (soccer) enthusiasts around the world are looking forward to the onset of the 2018 FIFA World Cup to be held in Russia, It is programmed to take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018. While anything is possible, all pointers are that Germany will win this edition. These world cup games are peculiar in many aspects and this could explain why many people are looking forward to it.
The great part about the world cup is there are so many teams that have a chance to win. It is going to be exciting.
The World Cup this time is the world's most bland trophy since I love football, the World Cup without Italy's presence is something sad for me, as an alternative, I am very confident to choose England that will be champions of World Cup Russia 2018
Italy not being present is indeed a strange thing! Glad that my country (Belgium) did make it to the cup!
I doubt it that England will take the cup this year! But in Football everything is possible!
Yeah yo are right Football everything is possible.
It was shocking when I found out that Italy was going to miss the World Cup. They have always been recognized as one of the best teams. It is a testament to how much better teams around the world are getting.
Very good post @adsactly, this is so cool, football is a game that is already known by all over the world, and is greatly in the interest of many people, from youth, children even to the elderly, and I also like watching football, and my favorite club is Real Madrid. I think, football is indeed a very challenging sport, because there we have to drain the sweat, energy, strategy, and all the skills we have. Therefore, the game is very liked by many people.
The game of football must also have a special skill, and not everyone can play well, apart from practice, we also have to have our own soul in our body, if by training alone it will not be perfect and can not be a soccer player of the world. Because in my opinion, a soccer player of the world does have a soul in him, so he can be successful up to the world.
As you say. "By 2018, an estimated 4 billion people follow or express interest in football". It could happen, and I'm also very sure, because the game of soccer is the number one game in the world, which everyone loves, and I'm very confident that football will be more successful for the future. Thanks for sharing @adsactly, and wish you a wonderful day... :)
Soccer can be one of the most physically demanding sports when it comes to stamina. There are very few substitutions and players must be incredibly fit to run for such long periods of time.
yes that's true as you say, because soccer is a game that relies on strong physical and tactics, if they are not good physical exercise, then they will not succeed to be a good football. Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad...
Very excited about the World Cup. In fact I was waiting for the draw with bated breath because I had already booked my tickets for two of the games but didn't know which teams were going to play those matches since the draw wasn't made till then. Groups B and F sound promising to me.
Groups B and F have indeed some interesting games! Portugal against Spain and Germany against Mexico. I do expect a lot of Mexico, not that they will take the cup but still I do see them getting far.
All my hopes are on Belgium. It is now or never for us, we will never have such a good squad anymore.
Feel free to join my WorldCup contest!
Cheers,
Peter
The draw reveal has become an event all of its own. People can get just as excited about this as the games. Groups B and F are certainly the toughest in my opinion.
I really love football, I am a fan of Manchester United I have been with them since I was 5 and am 19 Now. That is like 14years supporting Manchester United. What makes me love football is the passion in the game for example Manchester United played Chelsea In the fa cup and was beaten, I saw a young Manchester United fan crying because of we lost the game. Football is not only passionate but it connects different people from every time of the world. You can see in a team, you can have a Spain or Italy or England player playing together in the team. Thats just amazing. This is why I love the game of football
What do you think about Lukaku.
It is strange that lots of people are against him, while he keeps on netting goals and is still only 24!
In England my favorite team at the moment is Man City. Oops. I am from Belgium and do really like how De Bruyne plays! But depending on which team has to most Belgian players, my favorite team can shift :)
What I play about lukaku is his strength and the type of energy he puts in his game, I don't really have any problem with him. This was his first season with Manchester United and to me he did great, I know some people will say he didn't and they wanted more from him. He his going good we should not complain about him in his first season in a new team, because he is playing with this people for the first time and Manchester United playing style is different from everton.
I love de bruyne too his a fantastic player, he has a great football mind. He is someone that can an assist or two in a match. His one of the worlds best. I hope you come play football like da bruyne and hazard @fullcoverbetting
In my dreams am I better than both :)
Considering Lukaku it is strange. Here in Belgium there is a lot of skepticism around him. It never is good enough. People do forget that he is only 24 and is already the top scorer even for the Belgium national team!
He sometimes looks lazy which doesn't play in his favor when he is not in the game.
My friends dislike him, I do like him!
Feel free to join my world cup contest, so that we have can have some friendly banter during the world cup. Looking forward to the Belgium - England game!
Haha in your dreams 😂😂😂
Wow, well it's up to lukaku to up his game, oh yes his only 24 ,he has more years to improve.
I will love to join the contest. I also looking forward to that match is gonna be amazing
Looking forward to your entry!
Thanks alot
One thing I have found with Soccer fans is that they are extremely passionate and loyal to their teams.
Oh yes, we are, I can never leave my club because they are not playing well or they didn't win the cup.
@adsactly Just like you said.. Everyone would argue this based on were they came from. For instance you don't expect an Indian person or persons to say football is the World biggest game when they are too associated with the game of baseball but this is something that totally clear to the public, the game of soccer is been played across the whole universe. In my country here you can never compare the percentage of women and men trying to get a jersey and a soccer boot to other games.. Maybe football might not be the most riches sport but I'll argue this to death that it's the biggest sport ever..
Let's look at this, I don't really know for other countries but in my country here all schools have a football pitch and a percentage of 80 peoples who are try to kick the football on a daily basis but other games you'll notice that they don't have a pitch rather they'll use the football pitch for their training sections.. So what do you want to tell us that will make us not to believe that football is the biggest!!! ..
I think it is quite clear that football has taken the top spot as far as popular sports. And it is not even close.
Actually if it's not football then trust me it's nothing else as far as am consigned..
Football for many people is more than just a game. Football in the broad sense of this word is a whole religion with a huge number of followers and fans. In reality, this is one of the most popular sports. You correctly noted that in order to develop in football, you do not need to get special knowledge. This is available even to children. In addition, even now (during the digital revolution and the development of virtual reality) on the street and in the courtyards you can see the children who gather in courtyard teams and play football. This is such a game that will unite the nation. This game has a "common" language for all countries.
What is the most welcome event for all football fans? This is of course the World Cup. For many, the World Cup is a great event that is accompanied by a "storm of positive emotions." This is what fans from all over the world are waiting for. This is a great adrenaline rush and of course a serious struggle between the teams.
I'm not an ardent fan of football. But I perfectly understand that this is a huge industry that is constantly growing. Video games, sports betting, merchandise and so on. And what are the wages of the players? Yes it is a huge eco system that covers many countries of the world. Nevertheless it helps many people in the world to get real pleasure. I'm sure that this world championship will bring many interesting events for the fans!
Good article
Soccer has always been popular worldwide but the explosion in recent growth is fantastic. I think it has to do with soccer becoming more popular in North America. I don't see anything changing anytime soon either.
Am a die-hard fan of the game soccer.
If I have to explain why I love this game, I'd like to remind you of those days when I used to play soccer quite often during my childhood. When we had to sit and watch football on big screens, then later try to copy their style of playing.
We used to tag name of the famous players. I still vividly remember how exciting those moments used to be. We even formed a club. A senior football player taught us the basic skills. We improved a lot in a short period of time and played & won few matches too.
This is about how I started watching and being passionate soccer fan.I like it coz I know it well since childhood. I like it coz I feel this is a sport full of passion, with lots of twists and turns throughout the game. And by the way, it is like the most popular sport in the world today.
Am a big time messi fan so Barcelona is my team but funny enough i love the English premier league more than the La Liga.
World cup is around the corner and am a Nigerian.. So Nigeria is my favorite. Lol, i know many would feel we dont stand a chance but my fingers are crossed on this
@adsactly lovely write-up, big ups to you on this
In footbal anything can happen. How strong do you think the Nigerian team is compare to other years?
I could compare its strength to that of its 1996 squad that defeated brazil to take home gold in the summer Olympics 96'
I think that it is amazing that Nigeria is there and competing. There are some very good teams like Italy and the Netherlands that missed out this year. Once you are in anything can happen.
Well spoken fine sir!
The Unity, Peace and togetherness soccer brings has also made it possible.
@adsactly you will agree more with me that, as a fan we you go to watch a soccer match, you have thousands of views, who you are not related to by blood, tribe or even religion, but the way and manner they unite to support thier clubs will keep you wondering if they were from same parents or family....
Wonderful post about #Soccer, see you in Russia 🇷🇺 2018.
Soccer is a sport that has a way of uniting people from all walks of life. Especially the World Cup
Very true.
Soccer is one heck of a game that unites people. You should see the love people share when they come together to watch a game of soccer. I remember playing soccer in school as a kid and now I'm wondering why I didn't take it up professionally since I was good at it.
Might I also add that from time immemorial it's the only sport that has changed the lives of poverty-stricken individuals.
I love that soccer is a sport that kids will play anywhere and with anything that will take on the role of a soccer ball. People's passion for soccer can unity so many.
No, I'm not an avid fan. I am lukewarm at best. I do get ramped up for the WC, however. It's an engaging tournament every time.
I have no problem rating Futbol #1 in the world. I just use the wagering numbers. A simply staggering amount of money changes hands every week, year round. Juicy betting scandals are the norm, not the exception. It's an enormous business.
Great article, Bronco. Thank you for it.
I'm the same way. I get very excited for the World Cup or Euro Cup but otherwise, I am a casual fan at best. I would like more excitement to be part of the game. Some games can be very slow.
An excellent detailed, well written and researched article. Good timing too. The European Cup Final is this Saturday May 26th 2018,between Real Madrid and Liverpool FC in Kiev.
The World Cup also starts in a few weeks time In Russia . Women's Soccer is fast growing in popularity too.
England and Germany are great rivals.GaryLineker once said - 'Football/soccer is played between two teams of eleven players, and the Germans always win'.
All eyes will be on the European Final this weekend I am sure. I am sure that it will be a fantastic game.
Thank you.I'm sure it will be a great spectacle and advert for the game particularly with Liverpool's high tempo pressing style, but they will have to keep an eye on Ronaldo.
Growing up in a poor neighbourhood Rugby and Soccer was the only sport you could play since all you needed was a ball and an open piece of land. One thing that makes soccer such a great sport is the variety of positions you can play there might be 11 players per team but they all performing differnt roles and its almost like a little symphony and everyone has to play their notes at the right time to create a moment of magic that culimates in a goal, well thats the ideal goal but goals can come from anywhere and that kind of unpredictablity you can't just get in every sport
Soccer can be enjoyed by those who play just as much as by those who watch and support it and I personally have a deep love for the game that trumps any other sport.
This is what I love so much about soccer. Ice Hockey can be so inaccessible to kids for example. Soccer is accessible for all.
I grew up knowing the game soccer because it easy to see people playing and talking about it and it was popular in my country.
We love football here in Ghana than any other sports and is like brazil here its talent can be seen in kids early than a lot of sports.
My favourite team is Chelsea, one of our greatest player our country was gifted use to play for the team and it makes us love supporting it Michael Essien.
I think your analysis and observation about how the game is popular is right... You just need space and something to Kick... There you go. Hahaha. See you in Champions Leasge and Russia next month
It is always such a great story when someone from your country or area makes it to the big leagues. It shows that hard work and skill can get you there. Enjoy the World Cup.
Yes, please.
Football is the number one sport and I can't wait for the world cup to begin.
I guess a month remaining to the Football World cup and I am waiting anxiously for it. Messi and Ronaldo are a household name here even though Pakistan never plays Football.
Really, why don't they play?
Cricket is very popular and Football is not in timelight.
Cricket ranks extremely high in world popularity as well.
After five years of playing the game, people started giving love to Shree Shanki, who loves Gorup
esperando por el dia
Football is second most important thing in life, go Aussies !!
It find it always great when Australia plays at the world cup.
One of your goalies is the first goalie of my favorite team: KRC Genk!
Rugby is so much fun to watch
El campion del mundo es barzil!!!
I like news footballers
don't get to read your Post as often as I'd like, but wanted to acknowledge the good work you are doing.
african kids..i lost.
Nice work
"I do apologize to any who I have offended by using the term “soccer”
Apology accepted ... football (soccer) is by far the best sport in the world I'm from Africa and I think football is the most watched sport in this region of the world more than half of the youth population is either associated to a football club or a fan of a football club.. it's really a thing to live for
And with the World Cup "the Cup of cups" coming up in 24 days we really can't wait and my country is gonna be participating 😁😁..
In 24 days all eyes of the world will be on Russia as the World Cup kicks off and everyone starts cheering for their countries.
this year's FIFA World Cup will be the 21st FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018, after the country was awarded the hosting rights on 2 December 2010.It gonna be spectacular, dont miss out!
American football > futbol

Hello friend, excellent publication, count on me, I invite you to visit my profile and have you too, Regards
It's the game of my life. I used to spend most of my childhood afternoons playing it with my friends on a 3 vs. 3 street game on the pavement with very old and weary shoes. Such great times.
It is something that is now in my veins and that I could simply not live without. And that's with me coming from a country where soccer players are not part of the elite yet. I am from Venezuela and baseball used to be the biggest deal here not too long ago. But now, Soccer, or Football actually, has overcome it.
I was always amazed by the effect that football (soccer) has on the human brain. No other sport can match that.
This post is very good but I lack passion, much information, but who writes it does not live football, enjoy it.
Regards
Congratulations @adsactly!
